Where you’ll be

Bridgehampton, New York, United States

We are just off the start of “downtown”, one doors away from the Hampton’s plushest and most expensive Inn and its #1 rated restaurant. Our favorite Almonds is on the opposite corner. Across the street, the Historical Museum hosts Jazz and other musical concerts. The wonderful Hampton Library is about a city block away. Within that city block walk are the #2 and #4 rated restaurants and Starbucks. Main Street offers bicycle rental, many galleries, boutiques and shops, and in short walking distance are a wide choice of other restaurants and two Delis. The Candy Kitchen is a local haunt. A short walk takes you to the start of the Long Pond trail. A longer walk brings you to the Children’s Museum and across the street the South Fork Nature Museum. The ocean beach is a pleasant 2 mile bike ride, run/walk or ride down Ocean Road. Sag Harbor is a quick bus ride away.

The nearest wineries are Channing Daughters and Wolfers, about a mile and a half. Wolfers has evening events that are well attended.

Visit picturesque South Hampton, Sag Harbor and East Hampton, all via bike, Bus (on the corner) or car.

We're 80ish. Our son is 50s and works locally. We are both retired teachers and Leonard is a semi-retired Art Dealer. We have been active locally, including past president of the Library and the Bridgehampton Museum. We winter in Florida. We welcome diversity. Lots of books that you can take home to keep. Our 3000+ inventory is at below cost prices b/c I won't have to wrap, pack and wait on line at the PO to ship! Check the website and expect any sales to be even less. Keep in mind that we are old-fashioned AirBnd folks. We have only 1 and a small BR in a large house, and you will be kind of part of our family if you want (or not!). Privacy is easy, but if you hang her, you will see Gail and me.
