Discover our beautifully restored 1862 open-stone, three floor townhome in historic downtown Fergus. This modern-rustic retreat features a queen suite, loft, fully equipped kitchen, cozy fireplace, sunroom, private patio, and free parking. Walk to shops, cafés, and restaurants, or explore nearby Elora, the Grand River, scenic hiking trails, musicfests, the Fergus Highland Games, and exceptional culinary experiences. Relax and unwind at our characteristic getaway retreat - Stone Mill Retreat!
The space
Built in 1860, our historic, modern yet rustik, open stone & beam retreat with queen suite and 2 bathrooms, comfortably sleeps 4 people.
The main floor includes our warm sunroom complete with a gas burning fireplace, home to our 58" HDTV with Netflix, TSN, Crave and more. This is the perfect location to relax, unwind with a hot drink, a great movie or favourite novel.
Our full kitchen including hand crafted, live edge shelving is complete with oven, stove, full fridge, kitchen utensils, toaster, microwave and Keurig coffee maker for all of your dining needs.
The same warm space extends to the dining area for all guests to enjoy a great dining experience.
True to the historic charm of our 1860 townhome are our unique and steep stairs leading to the second floor with a twist at the top. Care must be taken by using handrails provided for safe navigation.
Our second floor opens to the queen suite with afternoon sunshine on the north side of our building, the hallway study which is business ready for all your remote needs and our three piece European stye bathroom.
Extending to our third floor leads to our cozy open stone loft with sky light and two single beds. A relaxing place to be.
From our main floor we can travel into our furnished basement area, complete with full bath for that spa-like experience.
Extending from our sunroom is our back deck patio complete with BBQ.
Whether for a week long, fly-fishing vacation, hiking or tubing on the Grand River weekend holiday, whether for remote work or celebrating wonderful life occasions or taking in our many festivals - Stone Mill Retreat @stonemillretreat is here to support your getaway!

Guests will have access to our entire townhome, directly located on St. Andrew Street West.
All three floors are accessed with unique and characteristically steep stairs. Kindly use all handrails provided to navigate their safe use.
A fully furnished bathroom is located on the bottom level. Our European 3 piece bathroom is located on the second floor with the Queen Suite bedroom.
Other things to note
This unique century townhome, located directly on St. Andrew St. West was once originally a grist mill, built circa 1860.
Part of the historic charm of this building includes three levels and involves the use of our characteristic and steep stairs between all floors. Please make use of all handrails provided while navigating your safe use.
Booking acceptance includes your full agreement to all house rules, all terms and conditions and to waive any and all liability from the host with all use of this townhome and property.
