Location

Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States

Seward is a vibrant, diverse neighborhood located near the Minneapolis campus of the University of Minnesota, several hospital complexes and cultural hot spots like East Lake Street, 5 Corners, and Dinkytown. The Midtown Greenway half a block away is a protected bike and pedestrian path leading to the river to the east and the Chain of Lakes and Southwest LRT trail to the west. The nearby Mississippi River flows through a limestone gorge here with access to trails and running paths on both banks. Part of Seward's unique history is preserved on "Milwaukee Avenue," a restored city block of 19th century factory worker homes. Seward a great neighborhood with shady, tree-lined streets and flower gardens to stroll through on the way to the stores or restaurants. We especially love Cafe Racer Kitchen, a block and a half from the house for brunch and dinner Tuesday through Sunday. Easy public transportation access to all parts of Mpls and St Paul.
