Just as it looks - clean, quiet, colorful, centrally located (but give your lungs a brake and take a taxi back up from centro). No direct sunlight (at least this time of year) but the large windows let in ample sunlight to living room and bedroom, and provides a nicely shaded pat…

We loved staying at Julie's place. It was modern, well-equipped and was a nice 7 to 10 minute walk from Centro. We would definitely recommend Julie's place to others looking for a nice place to stay in San Miguel. We also loved San Miguel and hope too return again soon!

This one bedroom apartment was perfect for our trip. It has everything you need, including a nice view over the city. It is very close to the city center, although because it is on top of a steep hill, it might be inconvenient for some. Yoko, who managed our trip, was very res…

Julie's place is beautiful, with a very comfortable king sized bed, and nice linens, well equipped kitchen, excellent shared swimming pool about 30 meters long. The owner was not present but Yoko greeted us on time and in a friendly way. The security guards are very friendly too…

Julie was very responsive to questions and requests before and during our stay, as was Adán the local caretaker. The location is awesome, as other reviews have noted. Lots of cobblestones. Bring comfortable shoes! Unlike other locations in SMA, the condo is quiet, and you don't…

We stayed at the condo for 5 nights and it was a wonderful experience. The location is great, albeit up a very big hill. This isn't a problem when leaving as everything is downhill and we found the gate located just below the condo to be very convenient. We did walk back a few ti…

San Miguel is an amazing place and well worth the visit--we absolutely fell in love with this city! Bring sturdy walking shoes (and a flashlight!) for the rugged uphill climb to the flat and a great appetite for some of the best restaurant eating imaginable! You may want to bring…

Glad it was such a positive first trip for you! You cite plenty of reasons why so many of us return to SMA again and again. I note your remark about coffee-- did you not see the drip coffee maker in the kitchen? Yes, you are right to reiterate the advice in the Airbnb listing about a flashlight and warm clothes for winter nights at home and on the town. One can be comfortable with the heaters in every room but it can take some adjustment to heat that is not always on, as is the case with central heating to which many visitors are accustomed to using in winter.
