I really enjoyed staying at Helen and Andy's lovely home and surroundings, such beautiful nature right in the heart of Norwich! The hosts were very helpful throughout the process. My stay was very peaceful and canoeing on the river was an amazing extra bonus! Thanks, Miia

A delightful haven, a pleasant walking distance from the city centre. Helen and Andy are very warm hosts and all the arrangements went very smoothly.

My toddler and I stayed with Helen and Andy for one night on the occasion of a friend's wedding. They were so welcoming - on check-in Andy helped me carry my bags up to the room while Helen entertained my toddler in the garden (he was completely happy to go off with her which was pretty amazing in itself!). The room was beautifully furnished and homely. In the morning they provided everything we needed for breakfast and had a lovely chat while we ate. My toddler loved exploring the beautiful sunny garden after breakfast, had a go on the climbing frame and enjoyed seeing the river with the boat moored up by the landing stage. Helen generously let him play with lots of her grandchildren's toys and again read stories to him while I got the bags packed and into the car. They couldn't have been kinder or more helpful. Would recommend to anyone!

A fantastic place to stay. Helen & Andy are fantastic hosts and we couldn't have asked for more. We booked last minute and they were only too happy to accommodate. We loved the attic room and enjoyed a paddle up the river on our final day in the Canadian canoe. Highly recommend - you won't be disappointed.

We are a very sociable family and love having people to stay .I have hosted foreign students and still do occasionally and it's such fun .Our house is full of interesting artifacts ,including many of my fathers paintings of Norwich .I myself have a small pottery that i love to share with anyone who'd like a go !!I absolutely love gardening which is enjoyed by lots of family and friends .Cooking is another hobby that i love to share with all !Above all our house is an old and quirky family home and not a hotel ,so expect shabby chic ,clean and comfortable ,the odd cobweb and flaky paint but a warm welcome always which i put above pristine any time ,if your values are different then maybe we aren't the place for you and a hotel would suit you better !!
