New Adventures Lakefront Chalet is a perfect place to retreat, relax, adventure or work remotely. Warm and inviting, yet spacious, elegant, and earthy. Fall and winter are a wonderful time to nestle in by the fire, nap in a tent, play pool, board games, read, create, write, play ping pong, get fit and so much more. Come get cozy, get fit or adventure with us!

The space
Let's talk about the fun and adventure first:
Summer is not only the best time to visit us. Fall is amazing, gorgeous and colourful. You can sleep in on check out day as we can often be much more flexible. And yet you still get to paddle, play pickle ball and bocci ball, table tennis, basketball plus all of the indoor cozy activities such as listening to music, reading, cooking baking, poker, pool, sports, and so much for. This chalet provides you with it all for all seasons. Winter is brilliant for watching the snow fall, throwing on cross-country skis, ice fishing, snowmobiling plus all of the indoor. We also have a fabulous private little gym to keep you fit all year long and a "glamping" tent for the avid camper missing a magical summer night.
After your work out or hot tub you are welcome to warm up the infrared sauna and soak up the many benefits.
Now for the chalet:
This Tahoe designed lakefront chalet is accented with the quality of Rove concepts furnishings and highlighted with our favourite antiques. It is located in the quaint town of Bridgenorth, Ontario, and is about an hour and a half drive from the city of Toronto (on the private highway that is). It is is only 10 minutes from the city of Peterborough and about 10 minutes from Fowler's Corners, antique shops, and wineries- it truly is in the heart of cottage country.
Found on Chemong Lake before the bridge and with easy quick access to the town of Bridgenorth, it is a beautiful place to kayak, paddle board, swim, fish, boat and watch the sunset. The sunsets are stunning and accented through the stunning 8 ft. windows that encompass the entire back of the home. The chalet is private and tucked in enough for you to feel cozy with your family or group.
The fishing on Chemong lake is an annual activity. Both large and small mouth bass thrive here as well as walleye and bass. Dock, boat, kayak or ice fishing are are ways to capture the essence of lake living.
The Home
The open space floor plan of the home is large, and airy with high ceilings but with a warm tone and peaceful feeling. It is modern with a touch of antique- please note we do collect antique cameras from all over the world but they are not hidden cameras we promise you that. There are no cameras inside the home.
As you walk in the front double glass doors, and capture the lake we encourage you to drop your bags and surrender. Take a moment first capture the view and familiarize your self with the home lay out.
A stunning copper metallic fireplace was designed to ground the home. To allow our guests to retreat while both working and relaxing.
The main floor boasts a large gourmet kitchen with spectacular lake views that is open to the living room. Turn on the gas fireplace and cook a gourmet meal while warming yourself with a coffee, tea, cocktail or whatever you so choose. There is a large tv to dive into sports, home shows, or Netflix- or simply enjoy the quiet of lake home living.
There is a bedroom on the main floor with a queen size bed and bathroom and a lakefront reading room/nap room/work space/host of sunset hour. It is the guest "wing".
BEDROOMS:
There are 2 primary bedrooms on the top floor with spectacular lake views.
Each of the primary bedrooms are equipped with large closets and full luxury bathrooms. Accessibility: These bedrooms require that you are able to walk up and down stairs.
On the upper level outside the primary bedrooms is a bright work space that over looks the lake.
There is one bedroom on the main floor as stated for those not comfortable with stairs (the main floor is wheel chair accessible) with a full bathroom in close proximity.
9 ft Basement Bedrooms:
There are 2 bedrooms on the lower basement level off of a central recreation room filled with activities for all including: mini basketball, a pool table, poker table, dart board and golden tee. There is a large sports tv and plenty of room to spread out for those with separate interests.
The sixth bedroom is an added lovely space that is accessible through the garage.
MAIN LIVING:
The kitchen is open, large and luxurious- a coffee bar, modern appliances and a wine fridge. Think chic, modern and cozy all over. The kitchen is open to the living room.
Also to note: There is a bar in the kitchen, a sports type bar in the recreation room, and a snow cone maker to cool off all summer long.
The exterior of the home features a brand new outdoor half court basketball and pickle ball court for every age to enjoy. We have ping pong and we have poker. There is really an activity for all to enjoy all year long.
There is a deck above the boat house for outdoor sitting, a small beach area and a patio that runs the perimeter of the back with several seating areas that encompass both sun and shade.
Warm up in the hot tub (accessible all year round) that is nestled into the cove of the home providing privacy and wind protection. Soak up the evening sun sets and the quiet mornings of jumping fish and diving loons.
Summer is very busy for the lake house so please respect check in and check out times to allow enough time for the cleaner to sanitize this large home.
Guest access
This entire home will be yours during your stay. The lot is private and there is plenty of parking. You will have access to the dock and boat house where you will find paddle boards, life jackets and kayaks. The lot does have some moderate slope at the back down to the dock so children do have to be monitored.
Other things to note
This home was built with the intention to provide luxury and comfort while still feeling earthy, warm, chic and grounded. It was designed with love and luxury we hope you will enjoy every moment you spend as our guest. This is not a party home and is restricted from accommodating more guests than the listing states but there is a few extra beds if requested. It is merely a luxury lake side retreat for family and friends to create a lifetime of lasting memories.
This space also provides an excellent location and set up for corporate team building- just on the outskirts of the International hub of downtown Toronto.
Excellent fibre optic wifi, paper, printer, space, views, and everything else you need to host your next corporate and business event.
