The flat is on a quiet street just steps away from delicious food, art spaces, live music, beautiful boutiques, friendly grocers, Saifi's Arabic language school, and the dynamic nightlife of Beirut's Mar Mikhael neighborhood.

Please note: I only accept requests from profiles with reviews from previous hosts, and I prefer no check-ins after midnight on school nights :)

The space

The place is quiet and clean, and less than a minute's walk from the most vibrant quarter of Beirut. It's basically easy, quick access to all parts of Beirut and just a few seconds from the highway to catch buses to the north, to places like Byblos, Batroun and Tripoli.

The flat comes with 24/7 electricity (we recent subscribed to the neighborhood generator) and the fastest home internet connection available, both unfortunately luxuries in Lebanon.

You'll find a handful of grocers, bakers, and butchers in the area, a dry cleaner, barbers, hair salons, nail parlours, pharmacies, the neighborhood offers every convenience!

Guest access

It's a two-bedroom flat, one bedroom occupied already and the other yours, with its own balcony. We share a bathroom, living area and kitchen, all fully equipped.

Nisreen was an amazing host! She was very friendly and outgoing, took me out for a drink and meal with her friend. Made delicious breakfast in the mornings. Her house was cosy and very clean. She made my stay in Lebanon very memorable with her generosity and friendliness. Stay with Nisreen!

I had such a wonderful stay at Nisreen's home! Her place is exactly as the picture. Very clean and cozy! This was my first time doing a shared airbnb and Nisreen was such a lovely host. It felt more like staying with a close friend. Having the generator was huge as the power goes out daily in the community but stays on in the flat which was helpful with staying cool and connected to wifi. The area is really fun and you can take uber or cab to get around to other areas easily. I definitely recommend Nisreen's place, great value and great hospitality!

Nisreen's place is great! It's in the middle of the happening Mar Mikhael area, with so many cool restaurants and bars within a close walking distance proximity. Nisreen was very welcoming and even introduced me to some of her friends when she invited me out to join her at dinner. The convenient store on the bottom of her flat is a nice touch. Thanks again for a warming welcome to wonderful Beirut.

Nisreen is a lovely host. Her apartment is in a cool location. It is quiet yet close to Armenia street, which is really lively at night, with awesome bars and restaurants. She also lives close to the Charles Helou bus station, so it is extremely convenient if you want to travel around Lebanon. My bed was comfortable and the apartment is clean and nicely furnished. Nisreen was very kind and generous and made me feel comfortable. I was happy with the fast wifi internet. I would definitely stay with her again.

Nisreen is awesome. She is very kind, and super helpful and hospitable. She made me tea when I was sick, washed my jeans before I could finish asking, threw on clothes and ran downstairs with me to get me a taxi on the main road when I was running late to a tour early one morning, and made me dinner my last night to say goodbye. Her apartment was spacious and airy and I felt at right at home. In my room I had a little balcony and an armoire to organize and hang up my things. The place was spotless with a neat decor and great wifi. There is a convenience store at the building entrance that seems to be open literally all the time, where you can get water or snacks. The neighborhood is the hip bar scene area of Beirut and there were a million options for lunch, dinner, drinks, and even a bakery with french pastries a few blocks away. Nisreen often invited me out in the evenings to coffee or drinks at the local places when she was going out with her friends. I enjoyed Lebanon and Nisreen was the perfect host, and my new friend. If I ever return to Beirut I will stay here again. Thanks!

Nisreen is very nice and relaxed, despite no AC the room has plenty of fresh air which doesn't make it feel hot or stuffy at all. The location is amazing. :)

Hands down this was one of the best airbnb experiences I've ever had - Nisreen is an amazingly generous host and flatmate and just a generally cool person! She knows Beirut like the back of her hand and had a ton of tips on where to go and what to do. The apartment is beautiful, clean, and in a nice location - plus the generator keeps the power on during the cuts and there's decent water pressure. Nisreen really went the extra mile to make sure my stay with her was great - I would highly recommend staying in her flat!
