The space

Inspired by Henry David Thoreau's "Walden", Casa Tiny is a place to escape from society, enjoy a simple life for a couple of days, a week or a month in this minimal, low-impact, isolated abode. The big table area is perfect for hangout, use the hammock while you enjoy the perfect book. Ideal for people looking for a remote place to scape from the city. With privilege access to Casa Wabi (artist residency) and Hotel Escondido.

If you have the chance to stay here, do it! Casa Tiny is a little piece of heaven on Earth. The house is spectacular, all details are thoughtful and well designed. You can enjoy total privacy yet have the benefits of nearby Hotel Escondido. Can't wait to return.

Tiny Casa was wonderful! Highlights were night time swims in the pool while watching the fire flys, watching the sunrise from the bedroom window, having the most beautiful beach all to our selves, drinking mezcale at hotel Escondido and taking in it slow. Thanks for the stay!!

Our four day visit to Casa Tiny was truly sublime. The house is even more beautiful than the photos suggest and the design features a pleasure to interact with and be within. The location is magic - Tiny is nestled within a relatively narrow stretch of diverse greenery, between the mountains and a very private stretch of coastline. A constant breeze from the ocean, with the sound of waves echoing in/on the house; cooling plunges in the handsome pool; peaceful fresh sleeps; private sunsets from the boulder cliff; cooking simple meals in a well appointed kitchen. I cannot imagine a better spot to relax, recharge and reconnect with oneself and/or ones partner. A very special experience. Do not miss a visit to Casa Wabi, the bioluminescence at Laguna Manialtepec or cocktails at Hotel Escondido. Claudio was helpful and kind, and the generous "extras" he provided (sun hats, fruit and water, bluetooth speakers etc) much appreciated. Many thanks to him and his charming housekeeper Alejandro for a dreamy time.

Casa tiny is exactly as presented. A spectacular, well appointed modernist escape nestled in amongst the rugged beauty of the Oaxaca coast line. If you have the opportunity and the means, just go. The infinity plunge pool might have been my favourite feature. A welcome cool fix on hot days. Meals somehow taste better when cooking in the indoor/ outdoor kitchen. With nearly no distractions, it was easy to relax for real. Claudio is a super host. Prompt, easy, he's really already thought of everything for you.

Casa Tiny is perfect and magical. The design and architecture was very inspiring. The casa is nestled in jungle and desert with a 3 min. walk to the beach - where we were the only people for as far as we could see. A perfect place to relax and get away. Claudio was a great host, quick to respond when we communicated. You can either settle in and make meals yourselves (bring groceries!) or eat at the very hospitable Hotel Escondido - a 10 walk away. We would love to return!

I love to travel, get to now new gems in the cities I visit, a good meal at a local market, buy an old book to complete the sense of the city, sip a special batch beer at a small pub.

I love cinema and theater, architecture, and I´m a 100% foodie. So please be sure to recommend any good places near your place.

We have a Tiny house in Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca, so we know what taking care of a house means.

Again, I love to travel and host.
