Leiya lives in a great location ( a couple blocks from Times Square) in an upscale condo building. The location is ideal for anyone who wants to be in midtown and have easy access to pretty much everything in New York! The building has door men and electronic keys which made me feel very safe while staying in the building. The associates at the front desk were all incredibly nice. The apartment is also right across from a grocery store so getting food for the week was very convenient.
The apartment itself was as described. Leiya's room is a converted living room which is very spacious. I never met Leiya as she was out of town, but she was responsive when I had questions and her roommate was very nice ( I met her once). The room is converted with no real door, so the mornings could be a bit loud when her roommate was using the kitchen. This was nothing that having headphones next to the bed didn't fix though, and it didn't last long as she was usually on her way to work. Despite having no door, the room is very private and well sectioned off from the kitchen. I enjoyed the location and the room itself and would definitely stay at Leiya's apartment again!
The only downside to my stay was that the common areas of the apartment were not very clean. From my brief conversation with her roommate, I got the impression that they both did not spend a lot of time at the apartment which could contribute to the fact that the kitchen and bathroom were not all that well kept. If you are looking for the cleanliness of a hotel I would recommend you stay in one, but other than that the apartment rivaled a hotel experience.
