Enjoy our one space modern basement studio located 4 minutes drive from the Southland Train Station, 10 minutes drive from Chinook Mall and 15 minutes drive from Downtown.

It's located in a peaceful neighbourhood, walking distance to the Glenmore Reservoir and Heritage Park and only a few minutes to the convenience store, Starbucks and Shoppers drugmart.

The space
The Space is a one space/loft type of basement with a separate entrance.
It has a Queen Bed, a reading chair, a luggage stand, clothing rack, a small kitchen and an electric fireplace.

- My wife Angie and I live in the top floor with our 5 & 3 year old children and once or twice a year, we like sharing our place on Airbnb while we are out of town. 95% off the year, it'll be us upstairs to help with whatever you might need.

- Kitchen: The Kitchen has a mini fridge, an electric stove, microwave, coffee maker and a Kettle. There is Salt, pepper and Olive Oil along with ground coffee and tea. There are Kitchen Utensils, silverware and dishes for you.

- Potential Noises: We live in a very quiet neighbourhood, surrounded by playgrounds and only a 10 minute walk to the Glenmore Reservoir. Our home is very peaceful, except for the odd sound made by our boiler system at night. There is a potential of noise from our kids in the morning but that being said, they wake up at a decent time (usually 7:30am) and they leave to school right after.

If we have rented the unit while we're out of town, we have set rules in place for quiet hours for the guests upstairs.

- Air Conditioning: We don't have an air conditioning system but we will provide you with a fan and all our windows have mesh covers so they can be left wide open all day long. (Unless it rains of course)

- Free Parking: There is space for two vehicles under our carport located on the right side of our house. There is also free street parking in front of our house.

- Patio: The backyard patio is off limits as we'll be doing renos to it this summer

Neighbourhood highlights

Haysboro is a quiet residential neighbourhood in the Southwest of Calgary. South of Heritage Drive and North of Southland Drive, Haysboro has the convenience of box stores on Macleod Trail, the natural beauty of Glenmore Reservoir to the West and several schools and churches, making it an ideal location for families.

This area has all the basics including dry cleaner, the barber, a supermarket, a gym. The Kingsland Farmers' market is also a draw for people who love their organic produce and having the option to buy local. The Chinook shopping centre mall and many handy stores like RONA and Walmart can be found right on Macleod Trail.

Heritage Station is the closest LRT line but, for many residents, driving is a more practical option for getting around the city. Macleod Trail runs North to South while Heritage Drive will allow drivers to access East to West roadways. Haybsoro is roughly eight kms away from downtown, making it easy to come and go from the city.
