The hosts (David and Beth) live on the ground floor of this multifamily home and guests stay in the 2nd floor, completely separate, apartment. The only shared spaces are the patio in the back yard. The apartment has it's own central A/C, furnace and water heater. See listing for all 55 amenities.

The space
Upper apartment, 1,100 square foot 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath, large kitchen, open living room dining room. Plenty of windows, original hardwood floors, electric stove, fridge, microwave, stacked washer and dryer.

Guest access
Guests use the front door, the host uses side (driveway) door. Guests may load and unload in the driveway but then park on the street. This corner lot has plenty of parking on both streets. Patio, gas and charcoal grills, and chimnea are shared with the hosts.

Other things to note
Guest have their own thermostat for heat and air-conditioning and may set it at any temperature they desire. All windows are operational however, I have tagged the best ones to open for fresh air if you wish. We added a supplementary window a/c in the master bedroom if you like it cooler due to the 7 windows letting in extra sunshine.
