Calm and comfy unit in duplex just NW of downtown San Antonio. This unit is in the historic Los Angeles Heights- Keystone neighborhood. Centrally located and close to I-10, visiting Downtown, Pearl, Lackland, the Medical Center, and the River Walk are all quick and easy trips (10-15 minute drives)!

After a full day of exploring, guests can relax in the spacious living room or cook a delicious meal in the full kitchen. The unit is equipped with everything you might need for a comfortable stay.

The space
Our colorful and cozy 1100 square foot space is the perfect size for a long stay or a quick weekend trip. The unit comes fully equipped with everything you need to feel at home. The kitchen has a large fridge, microwave, electric stovetop, oven, toaster, and coffee maker. The living room has a large TV with an Amazon Firestick- perfect for lounging around and binging shows on your favorite streaming services.

IMPORTANT DETAILS:
• Our space is one half of a 2 unit duplex. The entrance to the other duplex is on the left side of the house, through the back fence. The front yard and laundry room in the house is a shared space so you may see other folks from time to time.

• Parking is a little tricky at our unit. The driveway fits one car comfortably and two medium/small cars if they are stacked one behind the other. Street parking is available in front of the house but we please ask that you do not block the other unit's parking place and do not park in front of our neighbors' house(the blue house to the left gets very upset).

• Location: We live in an up-and-coming, transitioning neighborhood that is in the heart of the city. As you drive through to get to our house, you may see some houses/yards/businesses that need some love and attention. This is one of the oldest neighborhoods in San Antonio. Also, as with any urban area there is potential for noise (nearby businesses, occasional train, construction, etc). We’ve lived in the area for two years and it is full of families, older couples, and young couples making it incredibly diverse and eclectic.

• There are two rooms each with a queen sized mattress. Additionally the sofa pulls down into a small twin sized futon.

• Strong wi-fi and we have an Amazon Firestick on the television. Netflix is included but if you want to watch other streaming services, you will need to log in with your own account.

• Smoking is not allowed within the house or on our property.

Neighbourhood highlights

We live in an up-and-coming, transitioning neighborhood that is a close drive to everything. It's actually one of the oldest neighborhoods in all of San Antonio! As you drive through to get to our house, you may see some houses/yards/businesses that need some love and attention. It's bound to happen when some houses are almost 100 years old! Also, as with any urban area there is potential for noise (nearby businesses, occasional train, construction, etc).

All of that aside, it is a very safe neighborhood and most people have lived here for 20+ years.. We’ve lived in the area for almost two years and it is full of families, older couples, and young couples making it incredibly diverse and eclectic. Plus, the location makes getting around super easy. Everything in SATX is about a 10-15 minute drive away.

Howdy, y'all! I'm Adriana. I've lived in Texas for *almost* my entire life and lived in Austin, TX for over 10 years. Since I spent so much time in the city, I've seen it grow and change. But, I still know all the local hot-spots so feel free to ask me for recommendations. My most recent home is in San Antonio, TX. I've lived in the city for a little under a year and have been loving all the new adventures. I'm trying my best to learn all the best spots in San Antonio but am always looking for new recommendations! I try to travel to a new place at least once a month and I usually use Airbnb to book my stays. I've been working on visiting all of the states in the United States but I'm still under 20 right now(living in Texas is hard- You have to drive 6 hours to get out of the state!). I've also traveled internationally a number of times, including living in Madrid, Spain for a few months. Obviously travel has been more difficult during the Covid-19 pandemic so I haven't been able to venture internationally but this summer we were able to make it out to Sequoia National Park to see the Giant Sequoia trees. It was amazing. I love meeting new people and I look forward to meeting you as a host or a traveler!
