The space

This is a unique, spacious, and fun apartment in a fully renovated 1890’s home. Its convenient location offers the best of city and country. It is clean, comfortably furnished, and convenient to everything - recreation/ conservation areas, stores, museums/historic sites, Boston/Cambridge, colleges/universities. The basic space at the listed rate provides 1.5 bedrooms with a sleeping loft. These areas accommodate 3 adults/children in the 1.5 bedrooms and 2 older children/young adults/adults in the loft. A third floor option is available on request at a special rate and includes additional beds and full bath.

The ground floor consists of a country kitchen with a commercial grade stove, dining room, great room, and half bathroom with washer/dryer. The great room is large, has a cathedral ceiling with skylights, and the sleeping loft with a couple of twin futons. The loft is accessed by a spiral stairway.

The second floor suite includes a bedroom with a full sized bed, a full bathroom with a deep tub, a living area with sofa, armchair, and desk, and a private (and cozy) bedroom annex with a twin bed.

A deck at the back of the house overlooks the yard and gardens. The driveway comfortably allows parking for 3 cars.

Third Floor Option
If more space is needed, an entire third floor is available. This is a lovely airy space that looks out over the back yard. It includes a large bedroom with a queen bed, a full bathroom, and a den area that includes a daybed which can be used as a twin bed (more comfortable) or double bed.

The adjacent historic towns of Concord and Lexington are popular tourist spots to learn about our country’s history. A farmer’s market happens across the street every Saturday from 9 am to 1 pm between June and October.

The nearby train runs into Cambridge and Boston and takes 25-45 minutes depending on time of day. Cambridge is a 15-20 minute drive without traffic and Logan Airport around 35 minutes.

I stayed here with family when we came for my brother' graduation from Boston College. The home is in a beautiful, quiet area, and not too far from the city. It is also within walking distance of Walden Pond, which I recommend going to. It's absolutely gorgeous and peaceful! We had easy communication and greatly enjoyed our stay here!!

I stayed three nights with various family members at Jamie's place. The house is lovely and is right in Lincoln's town center, an easy walk to the grocery store or the commuter train stop. The house is well-furnished, and the kitchen is great. Jamie was very responsive and considerate, gave me a good orientation to the house. The arrangement of the bedrooms is unusual, with one little bedroom off of another bedroom. There's a third floor bedroom and another sleeping area that is sort of in the hallway. Very pleasant deck and back garden. I am very mold-sensitive, and I did have a reaction in this lovely older house, so this might not be the right place for another person who is sensitive to mold. For others, this is a very pleasant place to stay. Be sure to go visit Codman Farm, a community farm just up the road.

Lovely home, very close to everything you could need. A perfect spot for my gathering of 5 old college friends. We cooked in the fabulous kitchen and hung out by the wood stove all evening drinking wine. Absolutely wonderful weekend!

Jamie was such a wonderful host, very helpful and easy to communicate with from booking to check-out. I stayed here with my family (6 of us) for Christmas, and they couldn't stop lavishing me with praise for having found the place - it's truly gorgeous; the pictures don't do it justice. It's accessible and well-located but feels very quiet and tucked-away. The kitchen and dining area, in particular, is beautiful, modern, and spacious, and the bedrooms are cute and cozy. The house was perfect for us to commute to our extended family's home in Acton while also having the freedom to cook our own food (wonderful grocery store just across the street!), unwind, and explore at our leisure. One thing to note is that at Jamie's suggestion, we opted for the additional bedroom as the loft, while quite charming, is modest in size and really more appropriate for one person than two or three, something to be aware of if traveling with a larger group. Still, the place is an excellent deal and we were happy to pay a bit more for a comfortable stay. I'm a semi-experienced Airbnb user and would rate this as my most successful trip to date!
