The house is located on 5.25 beautiful secluded acres in Black Forest, perfect for a gentle evening walk. There are two large brick patios that are open for use. The entry patio is ideal for a cool getaway on hot summer days, and the larger west brick patio with the 8 person hot tub is well suited for warm summer days and nights, and getting cozy in the snow. The spacious deck is perfect for a meal, and provides a fantastic view of Pikes Peak - "America's Mountain". There is a small dog run for four legged friends, and a recently resurfaced trampoline for your enjoyment.

Comfortable stay in the Black Forest. Helpful hosts, delicious breakfast, very good bed with gentle breezes from the ceiling fan. Enjoyed the hot tub, and so convenient to the hospital on Powers and Woodmen where my new granddaughter was born. I would enjoy staying here again! Maybe next time with my invisible husband!

Mike and Kim's place was absolutely wonderful. A respite from our backpacking journey trials and tribulations this summer. Superb hosts and a delightful space in the Englosh room. Would love to stay again. Hot tubbing under the stars after a storm and in the morning with coffee - can't beat it. Especially for the price.

The house was beautiful, the views were exquisite, and Kim was a wonderful host. She was full of excellent recommendations and knew the area very well. She not only had good food recommendations, but offered us alternative scenic routes to wherever we were headed. We would 100% stay here again!!

The room was amazing! The house itself is a work of art, in a beautiful area in the woods, and Mike and Kim were fantastic hosts. I definitely hope to stay there again sometime.

This was one of the best experiences we have had in a long time. My husband was totally nervous about the concept of airbnb, and he was blown away by the kindness, hospitality, and professionalism that Mike and Kim had for us. Everything in the description is 100% accurate, but the guided tour, the personal conversations, the genuine care and kindness made this the best stay we have ever had anywhere, hotel, B&B, or otherwise. When we head back to the area, we WILL stay here again! THANK YOU BOTH SO MUCH.

Mike's place was everything that they have posted. They have a beautiful home and are kind and generous hosts. They have a beautiful hot tub that anyone would enjoy. The breakfast was perfect with fresh berries and croissants (my favorite). I recommends Mike's home to all who are looking for a relaxing and scenic stay (view of Pike's Pike).

Mike User ProfileMike is a superhost.

In 2014 my wife and I tried out AirBNB on a trip to Portugal. It was such a positive experience, that we have stayed at more and more AirBNB locations, and began hosting in the summer of 2016.
Living abroad was wonderful, and England provided the flexibility of going to Europe or other locations with little effort. We loved the English countryside, the castles, trips to Scotland, Ireland and Wales.
We are flexible hosts, we will let you have your privacy, but you can call on us for information on what to do in the area, or for other information. We want to make any stay with us feel like a true 'Bed and Breakfast'.
