With amazing views of the Yorkshire Dales this is a perfect retreat. A big comfy bed and fairy lights enables you to relax with your loved one. Toilet, shower, kitchen area, settee and dining set are inside. Decking area with covered hot tub over looking amazing views and separate balcony to sit outside. Toast, Tea and coffee facilities are included.
A network of paths go through our working farm with river and forest and higher land to explore together.
Perfect for walking and bird watching.

The space
The treehouse has one main room and a bathroom with shower and toilet. The double bed is very comfortable! Table and chairs for eating and drinking. Kitchen area with 2 ring hob, small oven, fridge, microwave, toaster and kettle.

Included are tea, coffee, juice, bread and jams for toast. There are breath taking views of Nidderdale from your tree balcony.
The large decking area houses the hot tub which can be used between 6 and 11pm. It’s covered so can be used any weather but is open fronted so you can enjoy the amazing views.

There are no electric sockets only USB points due to the distance from the main electric. Unfortunately people were bringing extension cables and multi sockets causing the power to trip out. Here is what is included electronics wise, if you need additional devises this is not the stay for you I’m afraid:
Kettle, toaster, oven, microwave, hob, lighting, heating, fridge, CD player, radio and hair dryer.

Guest access
Guests will have access to the treehouse, parking and a huge network of footpaths, river and woods to explore.

Other things to note
WiFi is available on request but must be booked ahead of time as it’s split between our 2 accommodations.

We are in a very quiet peaceful location with other properties dotted around the farm. At night we have little light pollution so star gazing is amazing and you can hear nothing at night but the owls and the occasional fox bark.. We don’t allow music around the hot tub and excessive noise isn’t appreciated. The hot tub is switched off at 11pm to allow cleaning cycle to run. Before being able to use it from 5pm we need to run another cleaning cycle and check water levels and adjust as needed.

The tree house has electricity, heating in winter months, microwave and oven, hob, kettle, toaster and fridge/freezer box for cooling the wine! Also a hair dryer.
There are plenty of great places to eat locally.

We have a usb point available for charging phones. There are no other electric sockets available so please don’t bring any electrical appliances with you. The treehouse is equipped with everything you need for your stay with us. If you need a TV this may not be the stay for you.

The treehouse in its location is very exposed. If we experience extreme wind/storm we will move you into another accommodation close by to enable a good nights sleep. :-)

Last minute bookings with less than 24 hours notice may not be able to use the hot tub on the first night due to heating times after refilling.
We occasionally have to empty the hot tub if guests have been disrespectful in their using of it. Certain substances turn the water cloudy or discoloured and we need to empty, clean and refill the tub before next use. The majority of our guests are respectful and follow the rules but there is always an exception to that. If the guests prior to your stay have urinated, spilt drinks or worse in the tub it will have to be emptied, cleaned and refilled before you are able to use it. The heating time is over 24 hours so it won’t be possible in these cases to use the tub on the first night of your stay. Unfortunately this is out of our hands.
Any damage to the treehouse or hot tub will be charged to the guest but have only occurred in the past with excessive alcohol consumption by guests.

There is a strict no flame policy at the treehouse due to it being entirely wood. That’s no candles, no barbecues and no smoking of course.

Location

Glasshouses, harrogate, United Kingdom

It's a peaceful location with beautiful walks in every direction and some lovely quirky places to eat.
Nidderdale has so much to offer and we are right in the heart of it.. 3 miles from the town of Pateley Bridge... 5 minutes drive or a beautiful walk along the river side.
Around Pateley Bridge there are cafes, bars, restaurants, pubs, a leisure centre with swimming pool, Nidderdale Lamas, Bewerley Horse Riding Centre, Brimham Rocks, How Stean Gorge, Stump Cross Caverns, Studfold Aventure Trail and so much more!
Cycling- we live in a private mile long road which is not a cycle path. As much as we don’t have an issue with our guests cycling, other business and properties on the lane do. They do have the right to stop you if you meet them on their stretch of the lane on a cycle I’m afraid and have done in past years.
