Crabblehill House is 3km from the ferry port of Dover and is situated in the village of River on the outskirts of Dover. Ideal for a stop before or after the ferry or Channel tunnel. Or touring the area. Close to the historic towns of Deal and Sandwich and the city of Canterbury. The house has many original features and lovely views over the valley. Each room is en suite with a large showers and modern facilities.
Guests have the use of a guest lounge and breakfast is served in the large bright dining room. We serve a range of cooked and continental breakfast including fruit, cereals, pastries and home made jam.
Our rooms are equipped with drinks making facilities and we have a range of fruit and herbal teas available.The rooms have large beds and flat screen tv/dvd equipment. There are four pubs within walking distance from the house, (two of them dog friendly). There is a large park close by with lakes and wildlife.(great for dogs).
Dover has a large number of varied restaurants and eating places to cater for most tastes. there are many places to visit including the Castle and the White Cliffs , memorials and gardens.
The house is a 10 minute walk from Kearsney rail station and there is a bus route from the street to many local areas.The high speed rail lingk from Dover Priory to London is 3km fom the house.
Crabblehill house is on the edge of town in a residential area away from the hustle and bustle of the main town but still close enough to make port and cruise connections easy.
