Cute flat with one bedroom and a double futon in the living room. Perfect for exploring the city on foot or public transport. Located 5 mins walk to Tower Bridge and the river, and well serviced by adjacent busses and tube/rail from London Bridge (13min walk).

Close to Borough Market and right next to Maltby Street Market and the start of the Bermondsey Beer Mile with 5 local breweries open to visit on Saturdays, this is a great location for beer and food lovers to have as a base!

Guest access

You will have the whole flat to yourself and are welcome to use the kitchen and any pots/pans within :)

Interaction with guests

I will normally be able to meet you at the flat with the keys and show you around before leaving you to your stay. If you arrive when I am at work or away, I can meet you at a convenient station and hand you the keys, or I have an friend who will meet you on my behalf. At checkout I will try to be present, but if not you will simply need to post the keys through the letterbox after locking up.

I had a very pleasant stay in a very comfy flat. Sleeping on the sofa bed was better than I had expected, and I slept very well. The flat was very clean and the location is very convenient.

Emma was extremely welcoming throughout the communications and when we actually met to pick up the keys. She had typed out instructions as to how to get to the flat including tube transport and walking route and all was very clear - also a map and places of interest in the area. It was lovely to arrive and feel the space of the flat it is larger than I had thought it would be - and airy. It was a very humid day and we welcomed having the balcony door open to allow a breeze through the flat. I was staying with my mum - who has rheumatoid arthritis and my daughter who is 14. My mum had a great night's sleep in the double bed - myself and daughter also sept really well in the sofa bed - which is huge! Lovely clean - tasteful and refreshing place to stay! Just outside the flat door there is a view of the Shard too. The location is very close to Tower Bridge and we were involved in a "Sing for Water" event at the Scoop on the banks of the Thames which was only a 10 minute walk maximum. I highly recommend Emma's flat as a great place to stay in a great location.

Highly recommended! Emma is very nice, helpful and trustworthy. Her appartement is clean and well taken care of. We are a family of four (kids of 10 and 15) and had everything we needed. Most importantly, it has a feeling of a home! The location is good, a 10 minute walk from The London Bridge and 15 minutes from the nearest Underground station. There are also a couple of supermarkets around the corner. In short, a great base from which you can explore London (if you can handle all the tourists and the high prices...).
