Pejibaye District, Perez Zeledon, San Jose, Costa Rica

Serenity Gardens Eco Village is a nature based neighborhood with families, therefore guests when outside the home should dress in a manner appropriate for a family beach, etc. SGEV is tucked away in the Pacific mountains about 4 hours south of SJO, but it's a short 25 minute drive to the town of Pejibaye with grocery and hardware stores, gas and car repair, and local restaurants. 40 minutes down the beach road brings you to the unique town of Ojochal with many great restaurants. Beautiful nearby beaches that are rarely crowded are also 40-45 minutes away. The busy town of San Isidro del General is also just over an hour's drive.

Our family moved to Serenity Gardens Eco Village in southern Costa Rica in July of 2014, and we absolutely love the beauty of the land and the people. We especially enjoy growing most of our own food, year round! We love to show guests what makes this place so special, so don't hesitate to ask. During your stay
Your hosts live next door, and are available to answer any questions guests have and to provide or coordinate local tours. In Costa Rica the most popular app for communication is WhatsApp, and this is true for them as well.

One exciting option to consider is participating in the CBV Healing Retreat plan. Offered at no additional cost to guests, hosts Todd and Jill can meet with you to discuss their simple strategies for wellness. Their basic plan for feeling better includes grounding, oil pulling and including fermented vegetables in your diet. Beyond these powerful basics, they can suggest other practices on a case by case basis. Just ask!
