We had a great 2 weeks stay at Richard and Tamara's place. The room is on the top floor and we had quite a bit of luggage (since we relocated to Toronto) but Richard for super helpful in giving us a hand to take them upstairs. They regularly checked if everything is fine for us. Since there is a fridge, microwave, coffee machine, bedroom and bath on the floor you live, you do not need to share any other part of the house. Pretty convenient.

A wonderful place to stay for a trip to Toronto. Our host Richard and Tamara were very helpful and respectful to the guests. We didn't have anything to complain during our stay. The neighborhood is very quiet and peaceful, a perfect choice if you want to chill and relax. Also, there are lots of schools nearby, so the neighborhood is very cheerful, friendly, and even feels safe at night. This place is located close to the Dufferin subway station (~5min walking distance), making it easy for you to travel downtown Toronto. I would honestly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great place to stay during their trip ro Toronto.

My stay to Evan's family was awesome ! Richard and Tamara are so kind, the room is very confortable (I really slept very well!). All is like the description. I love the district too. The house is very close to the subway, with all to do grocery, drink a good coffee, ... I really recommand the room and the Evan's family +++ !

The Evans Family have a lovely home in a quiet location close to downtown Toronto. Their house super clean with a brand new bathroom and ultra comfy bed. Public transport and shops are a couple of minutes walk. Richard and Tamara are warm welcoming people that are always available for a chat and can offer local advice but never intrude on the guests space. I highly recommend staying at their place!

Spent a month at this place. Richard and Tamara are a great host. They are extremly friendly and helpful. The house is located at a very quiet and clean location. The house is just 5-10 minutes walk from the subway. You should have almost everything you need near the place (e.g. coin laundry, convenience store, grocery store, restaurants). The bathroom is extremly clean and well decorated. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is planning to travel in Toronto.

Nice stay! Excellent communication with Tamara and Richard! Good location as well. Just be aware that we can not locked the room from outside and there is another room for a airbnb in the same floor. To summarize I recommend this place.

Evans Family User ProfileEvans Family is a superhost.

We are a family of artists. Richard is a musician and composer. Tamara is an actress and director. Our children are 11 and 6 and love to sing and dance! We were all raised in Ontario, Canada but lived in the USA in both New York City and Los Angeles. We enjoy travelling, skiing, hiking, canoeing, cottaging, reading, and generally having fun when we're not at home working.
