Thanks for having us, Gary! The pictures do not do the home justice. It's cozy but was roomy enough for our group of 9. We loved the winter decor even in July! The kitchen has every utensil, pot and pan you'd ever need to make all sorts of meals. All the instructions Gary will give you is very clear and easy to figure out to make your stay comfortable. Location is peaceful and looks to be in an area where more development will grow some time in the future. It's conveniently located (driving distance) to a plaza - Starbucks, Vons, Rite-Aid, a bank or two, restaurants. 5 minutes or less from the Village. A bit further from the lake than expected (walking distance wise) but an easy drive to it. Would love to come back in the winter!

Response from Gary:
Thank you for your kind words, Yuki. So glad to know that you and your group enjoyed the house and location. And I know that it looks like the open meadow surrounding our home could someday be developed but it is actually a designated nature preserve so it will always remain as you see it today (lucky for us and our guests!) Please come stay with us again sometime soon (and winter in Big Bear is fantastic!)

Gary was a pleasure to work with and excellent throughout the entire process. Extremely responsive, helpful, ethical, and thorough. Our family just loved the stay at his home in Big Bear and it was perfect. The home was very nicely furnished, spacious for a large family get together, super clean, centrally located to everything, great entertainment (pool ,ping-pong, air-hockey, board-games, TV/Netflix, DVDs etc), great kitchen, and wonderful deck space. The trip to Big-Bear was very memorable and Gary/his home made all the difference. Thanks again.

My family and I had such an amazing time up in Big Bear California. We had all the comforts of home- plus so much more. We enjoyed the comfortable beds, fun games, and incredible kitchen. We didn't eat out once! The patio has a gorgeous wrap around deck, and we spent each of the nights relaxing in the jacuzzi!! We were so sad to leave... and can't wait for our next adventure back up to the lake. Can't wait to come back and stay in the home again, and I would highly recommend it to any of my family and friends. We can't thank the Abrams family enough for opening up their home to our family, and all their hospitality!
