In the heart of Fairmont Hot Springs, on a very quiet cul de sac, our family's lovely cabin features a huge deck for relaxing. With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the cabin sleeps 6-8 comfortably (sleeps 8 if you use the day bed in the main area of lower level, provided high quality queen sized air mattress or cot.) Our cabin sleeps a MAXIMUM of 8 guests.

Perfect for families, couples, and pet-friendly. Featuring wifi and brand new mattresses and pillows. The ideal quiet retreat.

The space
This cabin is the perfect quiet, peaceful retreat. Everything you want in a vacation - a beautiful cabin in a very quiet setting, but conveniently located close enough to a grocery store, cafe, restaurants-all walking distance away. Pet-friendly, because no trip is complete without your beloved puppy.

We do have wifi and both large flat screen TVs at the cabin are Smart TVs. One is Roku and one is FireTV.

Exciting update: May 2021 we renovated, installing brand new flooring throughout the cabin, and we freshly painted the entire interior of the cabin! A gorgeous refresh of our fantastic cabin.

Minutes from the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort, and the amenities on offer there, but still secluded, peaceful, and with all the comforts of home.

Truly the perfect getaway for couples, families, groups of women or men looking to get away for a quiet weekend of wine and golf or skiing, or just relaxing in front of a wood burning fireplace or watching a good movie. This is the kind of vacation you can truly enjoy. Stress free and enjoyable.

In the heart of Fairmont Hot Springs, on a very quiet cul de sac, this lovely cabin features a huge deck for relaxing and absorbing nature. Take full advantage of the new BBQ on the deck, grilling your family's vacation favorites while you reminisce about the fun you had swimming in Windermere and Columbia Lakes, or mountain biking and hiking nearby trails.

Prepare your morning coffee, take a seat outside to read one of the books from the bookshelf, and savor the peace and quiet of your surroundings.

The property features large pine trees, and an open area to play bean bag toss (game provided on site). Plenty of property for the little ones to explore, collect pine cones or rocks, and have a blast running around playing hide and seek.

With 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, the cabin sleeps 6 comfortably, and there is a high quality queen-sized air mattress which you may set up to sleep another 2 people, as well as a single cot. There is also a pack and play available for use for your smaller family members! There is also a day bed in the main area of the lower level.

The kitchen is fully stocked with a dishwasher, microwave, stove, fridge and all the utensils, pots, pans and plates you need. Feel free to use any spices or condiments that are in the kitchen.

The spacious sitting area features large, comfortable couches and chairs, and plenty of natural light. Unwind in front of the flat screen tv while enjoying one of the many movies we have on offer to watch once you are worn out from enjoying all the outdoor activities in the area.

There is also a large seating area on the lower level. Challenge your family and friends to a rousing game of foosball, or play cards or a board game by the wood burning fireplace. There is plenty of firewood stocked nearby on the property. There are a variety of toys available for small children, as well as children's books, coloring books and crayons.

There is plenty of parking and space for your cars. Only park on our property please.

Just up the hill is the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort (2 minute drive), which features a variety of activities, including the famed hot springs-the perfect place to soothe those sore muscles. Also a 2 minute drive away is A/Z Mountain Adventures, where during the summer kids of all ages can enjoy a pony ride, and they also offer trail rides for adults. Be sure to check out nearby Funtasia, a local mini golf, spin 'n' bump and animal petting park; Fairmont Outpost and Outdoors offers canoes, kayaks, rafts, fishing boats and more to explore the 40-ish lakes within an hour's drive of Fairmont-not to mention our local rivers!

There are also a multitude of hiking trails right at our front door. Nearby hiking maps are available at cabin in our information folder. Mountain biking, fishing, and boating are other popular nearby activities.

There is a full-service spa at the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort-a variety of spa treatments right at up the hill.

For golfers, within minutes of our cabin, there are two 18 hole courses and one 9 hole par 3 course - something for every type of golfer, set against the breathtaking backdrop of the Rocky Mountains. These courses are a part of the Columbia Valley Golf Trail, offering 8 spectacular golf courses, each one with a charm all its' own.

In the winter, the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort Ski Area offers skiing, snowboarding and tubing - an excellent family friendly activity you will love. The terrain park is lots of fun too. The top of the ski hill is exactly 8 minutes drive from the cabin. This hill is perfect for family skiing, and the lessons for children on offer are excellent. We highly recommend them. Minutes from the cabin are many beautiful snowshoeing trails, and a fun hill for sledding. You may skate on the skating pond by the tennis courts at the resort, or go to Windermere and skate there too. Be sure to check out the Whiteway for skating! Winter is fantastic in Fairmont - so gorgeous, snowy and very quiet. Perfect for families. For a more challenging ski hill, Panorama and Kimberley are close by and a skier's paradise.

Come home and warm up in front of the wood burning fireplace. Roast marshmallows, or make smores. Plenty of wood on-site to keep the fireplace burning brightly.

Boa Vida cabin is also a short walk to a grocery store that also sells wine/beer and liquor, the local family-friendly pub, and the Fairmont Pizza and Ice Cream Parlour. Another restaurant within walking distance is the delicious From Scratch - A Mountain Kitchen, which also offers take out. There is also a coffee shop in the main plaza a short walk away. There are also several restaurants in the Fairmont Hot Springs Resort you can try.

Very quiet neighborhood, surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and pine trees. This is not a neighborhood for loud parties, or rowdy behavior. Very family friendly. Quiet and peaceful. No dogs off leash or excessive barking.

Boa Vida Cabin is our very favourite place to unwind and relax as a family. Our children have grown up coming here since 2015, and we love everything about it and take great pride in our wonderful cabin. Our favourite thing to do is find a secluded lake in the area and spend the day swimming, canoeing, hiking and having fun as a family. We love mountain biking in the area, and seeing wildlife. Sitting on the deck as much as possible is the best too! Skiing at Panorama and the family friendly Fairmont Ski hill is a great way to spend a winter day, and we always make sure to have 'smores by the fire in our fireplace afterwards! Fairmont is such a small, cozy, quiet community, and being surrounded by mountains, lakes, rivers and forest makes us feel truly at peace. We first visited the area years ago and fell in love with the peace and quiet. The friendliness of the people, the abundance of wildlife, trails, and warm lakes for swimming were big selling points. The family-friendly ski resort 8 minutes from the cabin was perfect for us too. We also love the wood-burning fireplace in the winter, makes everything feel so cozy. So much to do, but also so quiet and serene. And just a three hour drive from Calgary - perfect! The Boa Vida Cabin looks just how we pictured a family cabin should be-lots of wood on the outside, a huge deck, and very cozy and comfortable on the inside. Easy to get to, easy to find, but peaceful and away from it all...yet walking distance to a nightly treat of a delicious ice cream cone! The wood burning fireplace is a dream come true too.
