When we entered the villa, trough a big wooden wide open door, walking trough a huge hall leading us to the other side right to the terrace with a magnificent view over the hills, it felt just like we stepped into a magical world...villa is so old, you can feel it and there is nothing else to do than respect it. It is very very special. Although the villa is very old, it is equipped with everything that you need on holiday; washing machine, dryer, dishwasher etc. The hosts are very nice , helpful and friendly. We are happy to come back to this place and advice everyone else to do so as well.

I will definitely recommend to visit this magical house in between the beautiful mountains. Our hosts Livia and Guglielmo where very nice and made us feel very welcome. Villa Pianazzi is huge. We were eight grownups and four children and there was still room for many more. The house itself is very safe and private but all you need (shops, pharmacy, restaurants, taverns) are just 2 min drive away. And not to mention the big and very well equipped kitchen - perfect for cooking at home with friends! If you get tired of being just in one place then Bologna and Firenze are not too far to make daytrips. And all the nice little Italian cities and villages near the villa are also worth visit.

This was the perfect experience! The house is not a house, it's a family home that has been in the family since 1753 and it's a palace with a mountain view. We stayed 9 people and I believe the house can easily take double that. It's huge. We cooked food in the kitchen and everything was brand new. From a modern oven to the dishwasher. The best thing with the stay was to meet our wonderful host. He helped us with everything from the best wine yards to Parmesan production and even helped us come to a Balsamico producer that makes it the traditional way. If you ever come anywhere near Zocca this is the only place you should stay. If you like food and wine this is your next holiday.
