Peace and quiet

Some info has been automatically translated.
The atmosphere of the trulli, the old perched villages, the birds, the crickets, the breeze, the fruit trees, the fresh and crystal clear sea, the exquisite local flavors, the peace and tranquility... this land is a magic! Trullo Armonia is located right in the peacefulness of the Itria Valley, among almond and olive trees, in one of the most scenic and evocative areas of Ostuni, with a swimming pool and beautiful sunsets. The structure of the villa is very special, among trulli, cones, lamie, old ovens.

The space
In the heart of the extraordinary Valle d'Itria, the magical valley of the trulli, a stone farmhouse with trulli and a swimming pool with stone whirlpool.
Very quiet and surrounded by an orchard of olive, almond, fig, plum, mimosa, pear, cactus, and walnut trees. The house is not isolated, but comfortably accessible (not by public transport, throughout Puglia public transport is not possible as the only source of travel)
There are large squares equipped with gazebos, internal and external courtyards, barbecues, outdoor showers... It is difficult to get a really concrete idea of the house as it is structured in a very particular way, a characteristic absolutely in favor of the house and those who stay there;
It is a very suitable structure for large families with children and being separated into several adjacent units it can accommodate groups of friends or multiple families, but also very suitable for couples/couples of friends.
The house is very large and can comfortably accommodate up to 12/14 people: being structured in 3 independent but connected apartments.
There are 5 bedrooms.

The elegant Trullo apartment is the ancient beating heart of the entire house, thanks to the presence of the Trullo, a traditional Apulian structure with a conical dry stone roof. It consists of a large double bedroom with a separate bathroom (suite). The room is connected to the rest of the house by a small corridor that leads to a small room in which there is an alcove (with a double bed, therefore two beds). Please note: this bed is not in a private room! The room has a large arched window overlooking the garden, swimming pool and a large outdoor square with a typical Apulian farmyard. Adjacent to the living room is the kitchen, with dining room, another bathroom, and the other bedroom (in the trullo). Outside the kitchen there is an outdoor gazebo set up for eating outside.
Total beds: 6 + 1 (extra if needed)
Four in the bedrooms and two in the alcove (it is not considered a bedroom as it has no door, but is equipped with a curtain and a double bed). If necessary, a cot can be added in the living room or in the bedroom.

The Corte del Limone apartment is rustic, ethnic and cozy. It consists of two bedrooms, a bathroom, and a kitchen (arranged around an open-air lemon courtyard). PLEASE NOTE!! To access the bathroom and kitchen from the bedrooms you have to cross a very small and cozy outdoor courtyard - like a roof - and even a wall is not in masonry!! In the first bedroom there are two single beds, while in the second there is a double bed. Adjacent to the kitchen is another bedroom, a veranda with wonderful views of the garden; the comfortable sofa can also be used as a single bed. The veranda overlooks a small covered outdoor gazebo, surrounded by jasmine plants, where you can eat while enjoying the beauty of nature.
Turning the perimeter of this apartment, you will find the outdoor showers a little hidden.

Total beds: 4 + 1
4 in the two bedrooms and in the veranda area there is a single bed/sofa.

The third apartment is a romantic rooftop penthouse. It is smaller, as it is located in a room on the roofs with panoramic views of the valley and the pool. The room includes a double bed and a small bathroom with shower. (NOTE: the bathroom is low in height, about 1.80 h; so this room is not recommended for very tall people!). Outside the room you can enjoy a partially covered space, with a sitting area and stone kitchenette. The great beauty of this space is given by the breathtaking view of the Valley and the pool, which can be admired from the large bedroom window and the outdoor gazebo.

Total beds: 2

Finally, there is the back of the house, where the swimming pool is located, the solarium area and sofas that are spread out over the garden and the backyard of the house.

Guest access
Our guests will have access to the entire Villa. There is no sharing with any other person/guest

Other things to note
Please note! Air conditioning is not available throughout the entire property, but only in 3 of the rooms (those in the Corte del Limone and the attic). The trullo, being a structure with large stone walls, does not require air conditioning (which would also ruin its architecture), but it will still be equipped with fans. In case it is very, very hot, we can provide a portable "air conditioning machine" that works with ice.

A car or a motorcycle is necessary. You can easily rent them at the Bari and Brindisi airports.

The first store (bar, tobacco shop, small supermarket and also a gas station for filling up) is located about 1 km from the house, on the road to Ceglie Messapica. The nearest towns are Cisternino (5 km) and Ostuni (10 km)

Up to 13 people can stay, and an extra cot can be added as a last resort.

Neighbourhood highlights

This valley is really full of delicacies, hard to forget once you try them: like wine, oil, focaccia, olives, orecchiette, mozzarella, ricotta, bombette, tarallucci, panzerotti, friselle, cegliesi biscuits, fracide, almond milk... all local specialties!
I can show you places to eat these delicious local specialties of fresh meat or fish, but possibly also tasty alternatives for vegetarians.

There are many beautiful suburbs to visit (such as Cisternino, Ostuni, Ceglie Messapica, Locorotondo, Martina Franca, Monopoli, Oria...) and other beautiful attractions such as the WWF nature reserve of Torre Guaceto, the caves of Castellana, the zoo Safari, the organized walking routes for nature lovers (such as the splendid visit to the Grotta dei Millenari), the rock paintings or even wonderful places by the sea such as the protected marine area (also of Torre Guaceto), or Monticelli, Torre Canne..
The sea, from home, can be reached in 15 minutes (Adriatic) and in 50 minutes (Ionian).
Especially in the summer season, you can always find many cultural proposals such as live music, exhibitions, local and craft events, village festivals... or if you love music and dancing, every evening there are proposals for discos or clubs in the farms or evenings with DJs or live music by the sea.
(Mavù, Lido Bosco Verde, Torre Regina Giovanna, Torre Caffè...)
