Canopy Cabin is a year round cottage located on Eagle Lake, one of Haliburton's premier lakes. Recently renovated, we not only modernized the space but we poured a lot of thought & passion into making it both functional & aesthetically pleasing for your enjoyment. Spend your days on the sunny dock while the cabin stays shaded by the canopied trees - a dream combo. A scenic 2.5hr drive from Toronto, it's the perfect destination for family vacations, couple getaways or work-from-home escapes.

- The cabin has 3 bedrooms (1 queen, 1 double, 1 bunk bed), a renovated bathroom, full kitchen, a nice big living space featuring a Stuv wood burning stove, dine in sunroom and desk area for those days you need to get work done.

- The WiFi is reliable & we consistently have 5G reception, even from the dock (yes you can take calls and work from the dock).

- TV is equipped with streaming apps plus a record player with some of our favourite albums.

- The kitchen is fully stocked with all the tools needed for your ultimate cottage dinners. The fridge/freezer, stove (with a built in air-fryer), are all top of the line new appliances. A toaster, coffee maker, dishwasher, microwave, slow cooker, blender & baby food blender are available for guests. 

-  Barbecue on the deck with a great view of the lake.

- Modern fire pit with Muskoka chairs overlooking the lake for evening campfires. 
- Large front yard - perfect for both kids and adults to play lawn games. 

- Storage space stocked with water toys and outdoor games. 
- Nature watch with loons, chipmunks, deer and blue jays as  regular guests.

- Crystal clear deep enough to jump off the dock (but please do not dive). Sandy bottom and depending on the time of year/water levels, there's a small beach.

- Parking for up to 3 vehicles.

- Eagle Lake Market is only 5 minutes away and has all your LCBO, food and general store needs. You do not need to fill your car with groceries on your way up + perfect for those quick runs to get last minute items. 

- Sir Sam’s Ski and Ride only 7 minutes away, which offers skiing and snowboarding for all levels. Sir Sam’s Spa (adults only) with bar, dining room and range of spa services.
- It's 16 minutes from downtown Haliburton, a charming and picturesque town with plenty to fill your day.

- Haliburton County is a 4 season playground, with snowmobile trails, cross country skiing, mountain biking and skiing.

You must agree to our house rules before booking.

Tea towels, bed linens, blankets and towels are provided, however, please bring beach towels, as our towels are intended for indoor use only.

Please register the correct number of guests that will be staying at the cottage to ensure we adhere to local regulations.

If you’re bringing your dog, there’s a pet fee of $100 per stay.

Road and walkway conditions in cottage country can be hazardous during the winter months. We HIGHLY recommend AWD or 4x4 with winter tires. All travel is at your and/or your guests own risk.

Due to unpredictable water levels in the fall, the dock may not be accessible. We lift it out the water mid September onwards.
