Connect with nature in comfort in this tranquil riverside dome. The dome is located along Elbow River at Onespot Crossing Campground, a 200 acre family-owned Indigenous campground. Includes private firepit, picnic table, solar lights and a private porta-lu toilet.
Please note: This is still a rustic, off-grid camping experience with access by gravel road. There are other domes on site. Please read property information for all rules and details prior to booking.
The space
*Alcohol*: The campground is now an alcohol free environment, and the consumption of alcohol is no longer permitted on the premises. Outdoor cannabis use is permitted.
Pets: We are pet-friendly. There is a fee of $25 per pet, per stay. Please indicate if you’ll be bringing pet(s) when booking. If you would like to bring more than 2 pets, please reach out to us directly to inquire :)
Solar Only: The dome operates on a small solar-powered 12V system. You’ll have:

Please note there is no standard electricity for higher-powered items such as laptops, hair dryers, or portable speakers.
Please note:
*Curtains can be pulled across the main bay window for additional privacy
*Heating is by wood stove only, there is no other heat source
*There is no air conditioning in summer—domes can become quite warm during hot summer afternoons, though they typically cool down nicely in the evenings
*The dome is not suitable for leaving pets unattended during hot weather
*We strongly recommend reading all seasonal information before booking so you can come fully prepared for the experience.
OFF-SEASON STAYS (Sept 15th-June 15th):
*Best suited for adventure lovers and guests comfortable with a more rugged winter camping experience.
*The shower is not operational during the off-season
*The dome is heated by wood stove only—firewood for the interior stove is included during off-season stays
*The dome is not pre-heated prior to arrival—in colder temperatures, it may take 1–2 hours to warm the dome fully, so we recommend arriving earlier in the evening
*Outdoor firewood is not included
*Guests must bring their own drinking and hand-washing water
*AWD or 4x4 vehicles are strongly recommended during snowy conditions
*Warm layers and winter-ready clothing are important during winter months
*If temperatures are forecasted below -15°C, guests may choose to reschedule or receive a full refund provided at least 3 days’ notice is given before arrival.
PEAK SEASON STAYS (June 16th-Sept 14th):
*Perfect for guests looking for a comfortable outdoor escape.
*Shared propane-heated outdoor showers available
*Rain canopy provided
*Firewood for the indoor stove is not included during summer months, as heating is typically unnecessary. *Outdoor firewood also not included.

Please note that outdoor fire bans are outside of our control and may be implemented at any time by local authorities, including during your stay. By booking, guests acknowledge and accept this possibility. Refunds or discounts will not be provided due to fire bans or related restrictions.
Dome occupancy:
The Essence Dome is set up for a maximum of 2 guests (including children). Extra guests must be requested and approved in advance.
