Apartment near the picturesque Lachine Canal park. Ideal for outdoor activities (bike, kayak, rafting, surf, ski ...), or a quiet stroll in a historical zone. By car, it's 15 mins away from the airport and 25 mins from downtown Montreal. Start planning for spring, sugar shack time is approaching.
The space is quiet and well illuminated. Ideal for disconecting from the city, working in a peaceful environment, or relaxing after an exciting day in the multiple festivals, events, and boroughs of Montreal. If you like outdoor activities, you'll find our area to be an excellent choice.
Access to the living room, bathroom, dinning room, kitchen (oven, refrigerator, microwave). It's possible to park your car on the street in front of the house (check the panels before, we will provide guidelines on when and where to park).
Me or my family will be available to receive you, if you need anything, I can be contacted through my cellphone. Our home will be right next to yours, so it will be easy to help you if you have any concern or want advice.
The neighborhood is quiet, 5 minutes (walking) away from the Lachine Canal. It is ideal for outdoor activities as we are close to many parks, museums, and a rafting site. Fishing can be practiced on the canal as well as kayaking or surfing (on the stationary waves of the rapids). There are tracks for cycling or taking a stroll, they become snow shoeing and ski tracks in the winter once it snows. We have great foodie spots on Boulevard Saint-Joseph.
We have 2 bus lines (495 E, (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN) minutes from the house that bring you to the subway on the green line (Angrignon station). A bit further away you can take a bus (496 E) that will bring you to the orange line (Lionel-Groulx station). (Check the guidebook for adress)
Uber is available in Montreal, or you can use the taxi company Black Diamond, both can be booked via online apps.
The washing machine is upstairs, in our apartment (yours is downstairs). You will only need to tell us in advance when you need to use them in order to have access to them.
