Other things to note
Monte di Procida sits like a beautiful balcony on the tip of the promontory that dips into the Gulf of Naples. It occupies the most panoramic spot on the peninsula, capturing on one side stupendous seascapes, and on the other side, the view of the near by lakes. It's a breathtaking spot to be at sunset! You can see the mount Vesuvium and Sorrento along the coastline and across the bay the islands of Capri , Ischia and Procida. Its strategic location put you in a short distance from Baia, Cuma and the islands. Baia was for several hundred years a fashionable resort, especially towards the end of the Roman Republic, it was even more popular than Pompeii, Herculaneum, and Capri with the super-rich, notorious for the hedonistic temptations on offer. There you can visit many archeological sites. First and foremost, the magnificent and unforgettable roman empire water tank, "Piscina Mirabilis" . It was used to provide fresh drinkable water to the Roman fleet going to the military campaigns in the north of Africa. The whole place resembles of something out of Indiana Jones - shafts of light falling in from the roof, mossy foliage hanging down, pools of rainwater here and there, enormous archways and total eerie silence. Second, "The tomb of Agrippina", the mother of Emperor Nero and the wife of Germanicus - one of Rome's greatest generals. " The archaeological park of the Baths of Baia" which extends over an area of 40,000 square meters and contains the remains of patrician residences and spa facilities . "Cumae" ... the first of the settlements in the West of the Greek , founded at the expense of local populations Osco- Sabellic in the second half of the eighth century BC by Euboeans - Calcidesi . You can visit the Acropolis with the temples of Apollo and Jupiter , and the so-called " the Sybil's Cave ," referring to the tradition of worship oracular Apollo. In Roman mythology, there is an entrance to the underworld located at Avernus, a crater lake near Cumae, and was the route Aeneas used to descend to the Underworld. On top of these and many others archeological sites, you can enjoy the sandy beaches of Capo Miseno, with beautiful and high quality beach parks. Restaurants and very exclusive beach clubs (Nabilah, Lido turistico and many more) will make it very difficult for you to leave the area. With very little money you can rent speed boats, no driving license required, and you can enjoy the sea in full. It takes only 5 minutes to go to the magnificent island of Procida, and 15 minutes to Ischia, also called the Green island. If you prefer, there is also a ferry every hour that takes you to the islands. The port is also active with fishing fleets who haul in the fresh catch daily, to the anticipation of the appreciation of local customers. The 200 days of sun per year makes Monte di Pocida ideal for artisanal wine production.
You will taste the best wine ever...
It will be a very unique experience , and the Villa will make it posiible
