We've incorporated CDC cleaning guidelines and are ready for you to enjoy panoramic lake views from the bedroom! Retreat to the spa-like bathroom, enjoy cotton linens, a comfy bed, and your own fireplaced living room. Central to New England highlights and 1 hour from Boston. Relax in the quiet surroundings or venture out to swim, kayak, or fish from the backyard. Enjoy mill history in Lowell, take a forest walk, or to Nashua, NH for restaurants & tax-free shopping. Low cleaning fees too!

The space
This is NOT an 'entire house' but a portion of it, 2 self-contained rooms. We are separating guest-stays by one day before/after as well as doing enhanced cleaning. The master bedroom is private, quiet, and has a tranquil view of the lake from the second floor. An adjacent living/sitting room is included, containing a sofa (where a third, registered guest may sleep), TV, reading materials/reading nook, fireplace, NO KITCHEN but small table/chairs, microwave, mini-fridge and a tea/coffeemaker (keurig). The lake is small and home to mostly year-round residents. Nashua, NH and Lowell, MA are 12 minutes away, as is the highway of Route 3. Within 1 to 7 miles there are golf courses, mini golf, walking and biking trails, a national park, theatre, indoor roller skating, farmstands and scores of restaurants, and don't forget tax-free NH shopping. Boston is an hour away, and is the borders of CT, RI, VT, and Maine, making us an ideal stop in your New England travels. We are in a residential area, not isolated.
Lastly, 20% of our income (or the nightly charge to you!) from Airbnb is donated to their Open Homes Fund, providing temporary housing to those in need.

Guest access
Only registered guests are permitted on the premises - NO visitors please. There is NO KITCHEN access but many amenities used in a kitchen available in the suite. Only 1 car allowed in driveway (2nd car may park on street). Guests enter through the front door into our home's (shared but seldom used by us) front hallway and ascend the stairway to the suite. Yours is the only bedroom on this level. Guests are encouraged to make themselves at home on our deck and outdoor grounds. Swimming, kayaking, or fishing is allowed; however, the backyard beach is rocky. If preferred, very closeby (2 minute walk) is a sandy, small public beach which guests can walk to. We have an old fashioned swing (see photo), badminton or croquet games if you wish, and various inflatables during the summertime for your use, as well as two kayaks and two bicycles (latter in garage). However, we are not childproofed inside or out.
The grounds have lovely pocket gardens and a generous view of the lake since we are located on a point. Please note we are not remotely situated, or even in 'the country'; we have close-by neighbors in this residential area.

Other things to note
We are not childproofed inside or out. With life vests (yours or ours) we are happy to lend you one or both of our kayaks. Floats, tubes, etc. are fine to bring and use in summertime. A light, cold breakfast will be provided as well as coffee or tea. Water is entirely drinkable.
The brochure in the suite describes many things to see and do in the area, or see our guidebook through Airbnb. The brochure includes suggestions for travel in New England.

"Lake people" is how we like to think of ourselves, as do our neighbors! We all have our own ways of enjoying the lake, and ours is pretty low key, we do not own any motorized playthings! However, they're allowed on the lake and it can be quite active with them in summer. The property is not isolated, but in a residential area on a quiet street. Most services 10-15 minutes by car.

We love to travel and have travelled the world, but New England and the US are just as worthy and we take advantage whenever we can to travel near or far. We both love to cook and wherever we are, we love sampling the local fare. Denise has recently retired as a registered nurse and she is an avid oil and acrylic painter. Lynwood has also recently retired from a 'big box' home center and he enjoys remodeling and is a former antiques dealer. We truly enjoy nature, and feel fortunate to get our fix right here at home between the birds, chipmunks, geese and ducks, occasional deer, bald eagle, and heron in our own backyard! Life motto? Get out and experience as many different things as possible and do not be afraid! There are far too many things to do and see so get going!
