Forest Glen is a safe and convenient neighborhood just 1.5 miles north of Washington DC. It is a residential area sandwiched between Rock Creek Park and Sligo Creek park, both of which make for nice biking and hiking escapes.

One metro stop south (5 mins from your apartment door) is Downtown Silver Spring, a thriving urban area, bustling with restaurants, shops, the AFI theater, the Fillmore Concert Hall, and much more.

Head past Silver Spring and straight to downtown Washington DC. You will have a quick and direct ride from your apartment to Gallery Place/Chinatown in 20 min and Metro Center in 25 min. From these stops you can get to most key attractions in DC on foot, or you can transfer to other lines.

Sheryl, a longtime DC resident, works in international development. Drew, who is native to Montgomery County, works for a whiskey distillery. When we aren't working, we spend a lot of time in the city checking out new restaurants, bars, and catching shows. We started hosting a couple of years ago and have had the pleasure of welcoming a wide range of guests in our apartment. We also recently welcomed Pickles, a french bulldog puppy, into our family. She still has a lot of energy and we try and keep her active outside but you may occasionally hear her playing one of her puppy games upstairs. If you are thinking about staying here and have any questions about the area or the apartment, please don't hesitate to reach out.
