Beautiful area

This home is in a scenic location.
This cute little room is designed for someone who wants a beachfront place to sleep but doesn't plan to cook or spend much time in the room. With a comfortable bed, wifi and a smart TV, it's a great place to wind down after a day of work or exploring. A handful of really good restaurants are within walking distance, but a car gives you easy access to everything on the peninsula.

The space
This little room is perfect for backpackers. It has a kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave, and hot plate with a few cooking essentials and dishes. So simple meals are possible. The room is in a detached building behind the main Joya del Mar house. Trees and flowers surround the room, and you just have to walk around the main house to get to the beach, which is public.

You’re just a short walk from the sand — guests staying in this room can enjoy the same shared beachfront area as the main house.

This is a simple, practical space designed for travelers who spend most of their time out exploring. The room is in a small detached building behind the main house, so you’ll have your own entrance and a quiet place to unwind. Because it’s a compact setup, storage is limited and the kitchenette is best for light meals. You’ll walk around the main house to reach the shared beach area, which is public and used by guests from the property.

It’s a great starting point for exploring Belize, whether you’re heading into the jungle for ruins and wildlife or staying coastal for reef trips. Placencia Village sits 8 miles away, and Seine Bight is even closer, giving you quick access to more local flavor whenever you want it

I am marine biologist and love nature. Originally from Austria we traveled a lot and lived in different countries but somehow Belize doesn't let us go :-) We, my wife Simone and I, live in Maya Beach. For years we have now been working as property managers for several properties in the area. We love diving, dining out and a cold beer on our dock overlooking the beautiful canal just steps away from the Placencia lagoon. We are very much looking forward to hosting you in the small country of Belize.
