Ian's home is brilliant and Ian himself is the warmest most welcoming host. The pictures on the website are an accurate representation of the home. Spacious, bright and airy are the first adjectives that come to mind when visiting Ian's. Huge picture windows encapsulate the home and these windows open to let in the tree filtered fresh air. The kitchen and living area are expansively open planned, with a balcony at one end. The kitchen is fully stocked with every cooking amenity possible and fully functional appliances. Along with an extra set of keys, Ian had also kept an Oyster card on the kitchen table to further facilitate our stay. The bedding was soft, starched and fresh. Towels were plentiful and kept nearly folded in the linen cabinet. The area sits plum between the lively Portobello Road on one side and the lush green Kensington Memorial Park, with a splash park / water park within, on the other side. The apartment sits atop the glitz and glamour of portobello road. The antique markets, vintage shops, restaurants and cafes are lively and invigorating. The Ackland Village weekend food festival was charming, featuring culinary delights from all over the world. The Golborne Street Market is also a stone's throw away. Several brilliant restaurants in the area including The Ledbury and E&O. The freshest sushi purveyed at the small family run restaurant called Okasan. Japanese tapas to the tune of a live band at the Ukai. Authentic Thai fare overlooking portobello road on offer at the Market Thai. The raucous food stalls along portobello road are a culinary treasure trove. Saffron hued paella, crackling churros, Nutella crepes and sizzling BBQs are just a few of the many street side offerings. Bus stops, on either side of the square, are a few moments' saunter and the tube station is round the corner. There is door to door access via buses to the West End, Knightsbridge and the Westfield Mall. Tesco Metro and Sainsbury's Local are well within trolley range. Ian is the most gracious host. Being AirBnB freshmen, we had a barrage of continuous queries and each one was answered promptly and thoughtfully. The hidden treasure in this place was Ian's library. Shelves of contemporary literature make certain that there is never a dull moment in the home.

Thank you Ian for inviting us to your lovely home! The kitchen and dining area was excellent. The two bedrooms had comfortable beds and the two bathrooms suited us perfectly. The neighbourhood was nice, very close to Portobello Rd. We much appreciated the flexibility with the check-in and check-out.

Good location with Portobello market just around the corner. The flat is nice with 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a nice level with social area and kitchen. Easy pickup of the keys even though Ian couldn't meet us in person. I'd definitely book this place again if I need a place in London!

Lovely well-equipped spacious flat with lovely green views. We did not meet the host but he was very helpful and easy to contact. If you have not stayed in North Kensington before you should try it. It is lively and authentic with many nice restaurants and plenty of shops.

Nice apartment, perfect place for a familiy of four. Ian was quick to answered any questions we had during the stay. We can recommend Ians place to anyone.
