Beautiful secluded location. A slightly fancier option to camping so if you want a rustic experience it is a good option.

Interesting place with a beautiful view. The bed is a bit short, definitely a tight fit for anybody over 6 foot, but overall a good place for a pit stop.

The cabins are quaint and the view is great. However, the entrance sign was hard to find as we arrived at dusk - actually drove by it twice as there was no reflective material and was partially covered by branches. Also we weren't clear on the check in process, i.e. whether to drive to the main house or cabins first.

Oliver's barrel cabin's was a different experience to say the least. It is exactly as advertised, a very unique concept and great adventure. The location is quiet and remote. We saw lots of wildlife and there is a great swimming beach nearby. Unfortunately we did not get to meet Oliver or have his pizza, but his cousin Fin from Germany was there on our first night and he had stocked the refrigerator with several of Oliver's beer from his new up and coming micro brewery business he is starting in Kelowna and they were awesome tasting beers. Oliver has a great idea and i hope he continues to expand and grow the property as the outdoor shower and kitchen currently under construction would be a great addition to the experience. In the meantime Oliver has opened up his main log house to use the kitchen and bathroom facilities at your leisure to round out your stay. If you are looking for a truly unique vacation, this is the place. Thanks for hosting us Oliver and Fin. Perry

The barrel cabin was awesome!! The road is definitely a bumpy and rough ride, but it's fun. The main house is very cool although I didn't spend much time there. You are in the middle of the woods with peace, quiet, and beautiful views. The cabins are beautiful. The bed was comfortable and I had two great sleeps there. The lights in the cabins are so cool - changing colours!! Osoyoos is about 1hr away - good for day trips. I was going through a very difficult time in my life and the cabin was my refuge at that time where I could crawl up safe inside. Thanks Oliver!

I am a Canadian of German heritage, who speaks both languages fluently. Professionally I am a Cinematographer, Brewer and Farmer. I love what I do, but that's not all of me... I am a passionate and driven rugby player, Sailor, I love to surf, Scuba dive, swim, hike, hunt, build things, and fix things. I am also a father of 2 beautiful, wonderful children. I love to travel but the farm keeps me pretty close to home these day. I hope to be able to do some long distance open water sailing to far off destinations with my family in the near future.
