African Relish Cottages are off site from the Cooking school and Chef's Cafe and Deli. African Relish recreational cooking school provides accommodation for guests in 4 cottages in various parts of the town. The cottages are beautifully restored with one originally being a laborers home and another a water reservoir. The third and fourth are the rustic town houses of farmers who many years ago used the premises to water and rest their horses when they came to town for church services.

The space
This beautiful cottage is a complete home and guests have access to a huge private garden and off-street secure parking. The large air-conditioned en-suite bedroom has a comfortable queen size bed. A fully equipped kitchen with wood burning stove ensures for warmth during the winter. The covered veranda leading to private garden has a BBQ and lovely outdoor furniture.

Where you’ll be

Prince Albert, Western Cape, South Africa

Prince Albert is a delightful historic village at the foot of the Swartberg Pass, which has been declared a World Heritage site. It forms part of the Karoo which is a semi desert area taking up a large part of central South Africa. Although the region is known for periodic devastating drought, the town is blessed with perennial water from the Swartberg (Black Mountain) and the village still uses the age-old water furrow system along its streets to irrigate gardens and small town farms. Our town is currently still under drought controls. Please visit the below link on what to see and do in Prince Albert.
