Staying at Sarah's place was a real delight, the attic room was bright, spacious, cosy, quiet and the bed was very comfortable. We slept so well! Sarah was immediately available by text whenever we had a question. Arrival was smooth and we had time to settle in on our own. We me…

The host was very hospitable and she got her friend to meet us and show us around. We never met the owner but she kept in touch via text. The home was very comfortable and family friendly! A very happy place to stay. When we walked in it truly felt happy. The negative side …

Response from Sarah:
I am so sorry that Melissa found that the house was not as clean as she would like, and that she was too hot! i have not ever before received complaints re: cleanliness from guests after innumerable visitors (hundreds of people from all over the world!), so this was certainly an aberration and not the norm. The shower is certainly not moldy but the grout is discolored and is scheduled to be redone later this summer anyhow. We do live comfortably here without AC in the summer, but for some people it may not feel comfortable if they are used to AC. Ants and flies do come out when open foodstuffs are left out in summer heat, so that may have to do with guest habits as well - it is not a problem when food is kept covered or refrigerated.

Sarah was so helpful. My group and I got a bit lost during our ride from the LGA Airport to her house (since it was our first time in nyc) but she messages and calls me every now and then to check up on us. Her house is near train station which made it easier when you have luggag…

This is a great place to enjoy NYC especially for families with children. The house and neighborhood are charming and exude character. The Q train is literally feet away. This will take you to Manhattan in 30-45 mins. If you need a reprieve from Manhattan there is plenty to see i…
