The Home is in a lovely setting, very private and cozy. It was great to have the Water provided for drinking and appreciated the Heater as the nights were Chilly. The wood stove really adds to the coziness although it didn't take much to warm up the Cabin with just a small fire. We had beautiful weather and really enjoyed exploring the area each day. The Wild life is plentiful and we saw many Bears, Deer and even a Bobcat. It was so nice to have had such a restful relaxing holiday off the Grid for a few days~

A little hard to find, but had some helpful neighbors give us directions to Maureen's. The property is really cute and set in some beautiful ranch land and forest, and even though it was raining most of the time we loved it. The cabin itself is nice and private as it is set back into the trees a bit and on the other side of the property from the house, though that didn't stop Mollie the Border Collie from coming to say hello much to our delight! The amenities are all working properly and the wood stove heater was a delight on the chilly days. The beds were comfy (though we only used the loft) and the entire place was cozy. Though a little out of the way, if you're in the area and want a bit of a get away, this is the place to do it.

Amazing place with great hosts! Maureen and Ray are super friendly and helpful, and their dog Molly makes great company! I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, well stocked with everything you could need, and all the amenities worked perfectly. Couldn't think of a bad thing to say if I tried! Thanks Maureen!

Our hosts were superb vey outgoing friendly and helpful. Ray gave us some good tips on fishing lakes. There was WiFi for internet and a DVD player and sized TV for movies. There was an extra fridge outside for storage. Kitchen well appointed. Beds comfortable There also was a DVD library. We selected this Home based on location to Fishing lakes and cost and were very very satisfied. and got an extra bonus of wonderful owners/hosts

The photos do not do this place justice. The cabin and location is beautiful. Maureen and Ray were fantastic hosts and we truly enjoyed our time at their cabin. It was easy to find and everything was as described. We would highly recommend this listing to friends and family.

Beautiful log house. Beyond expectations. Such an amazing peaceful area. Very kind host and the sweetest dog and chickens. The loghouse is equipped with everything that you need for a comfortable stay, even when its raining all day.. Towels, coffee and a very comfy bed. The house is bigger and more beautiful than you see in the pictures.

Maureen User ProfileMaureen is a superhost.

I grew up in Toronto, Canada's largest city, but I chose the rural life. - gardening, hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing - all of this is right outside my door. I've traveled to many places in North and South America, Asia and Europe and enjoyed them all, but in the long run, I haven't found any place that compares to right here!
