This cabin is beautiful. Very private. Craftsmanship is wonderful. Washer and dryer is very nice to have. We were late and Maureen lit the fire for us very nice hosts. Drove in and saw the most beautiful sunset I have ever seen,a 6 point buck on the side of the road, beautiful autumn colours in the meadows as we road our motorbikes,it was wonderful. We will be back.

Maureen and Ray were fantastic hosts. Their log cabin is beautiful and the property is quiet and private. Morning coffees on the patio were perfect! Waking up to the sun shining in the loft was wonderful, but if you'd like it darker the bedroom downstairs has you covered! Well equipped, plenty of space, great easy to follow directions to find the cabin. The gravel road in was well maintained and it was an easy drive in in my rental Nissan Sentra (small front wheel drive car). Can't wait to come back again! Warmly, Caitlin

If you like a tranquil location and the uniqueness of a log cabin, this is the place to stay. The drive into the log cabin was a 45-minute journey, so be prepared to stock up on provisions before your arrival.

The Home is in a lovely setting, very private and cozy. It was great to have the Water provided for drinking and appreciated the Heater as the nights were Chilly. The wood stove really adds to the coziness although it didn't take much to warm up the Cabin with just a small fire. We had beautiful weather and really enjoyed exploring the area each day. The Wild life is plentiful and we saw many Bears, Deer and even a Bobcat. It was so nice to have had such a restful relaxing holiday off the Grid for a few days~

A little hard to find, but had some helpful neighbors give us directions to Maureen's. The property is really cute and set in some beautiful ranch land and forest, and even though it was raining most of the time we loved it. The cabin itself is nice and private as it is set back into the trees a bit and on the other side of the property from the house, though that didn't stop Mollie the Border Collie from coming to say hello much to our delight! The amenities are all working properly and the wood stove heater was a delight on the chilly days. The beds were comfy (though we only used the loft) and the entire place was cozy. Though a little out of the way, if you're in the area and want a bit of a get away, this is the place to do it.

Amazing place with great hosts! Maureen and Ray are super friendly and helpful, and their dog Molly makes great company! I couldn't have asked for a better place to stay. It was clean, well stocked with everything you could need, and all the amenities worked perfectly. Couldn't think of a bad thing to say if I tried! Thanks Maureen!

I grew up in Toronto, Canada's largest city, but I chose the rural life. - gardening, hiking, kayaking, cross country skiing - all of this is right outside my door. I've traveled to many places in North and South America, Asia and Europe and enjoyed them all, but in the long …
