This area is easy to get around.

If you love art, collectibles, and animals, you'll love this colourful and spacious loft. It's bright and cozy and lives at the foot of Mount Pleasant where you can find an amazing selection of restaurants, breweries, galleries, cafes and shops! It is also minutes away from Vancouver's 2012 Olympic Village and Science World. Getting around town is just as easy with bus routes steps away and the Skytrain is just down the street. We hope you enjoy your stay!

The space
There are 2 artists that live in the space, so the walls are covered with art and the shelves are filled with collectables and oddities. The space is also a home for a few of our little friends. There's a cat named Gimli, a ball-python named Monty and a tarantula. If you are faint at heart, we can definitely find a home for the critters during your stay, but the cat rules the roost, so she must stay in the house. She is a bit older and on a special diet, so she will need feeding 2x a day, water and a clean litter. The others will not need anything, as they will be fed before we leave.

Guest access
You will have the entire space! The bedroom is on a raised platform surrounded by windows and books, but the couch can pull out for one or 2 more guests to join you. There is a Juliet balcony attached to the suite, but you also have access to the roof top patio. The view is great!!

Other things to note
Again, there is an older cat in the house, so if you have allergies or are mean and rough to cats, then maybe this place isn't for you. We are looking for people with good, calm energy and can treat Gimli with patience and respect.

Neighbourhood highlights

Since we've moved to Mount Pleasant, we have not needed to go anywhere else! Endless shops, restaurants, galleries and TONS of breweries in the neighbourhood, all within walking distance away!! If you're looking for some good brunch places, we recommend The Whip, Barney's, 8 1/2 or for some good ol' greasy spoon breakfast, Nice Cafe on 8th Ave.
