Lovely place right in the heart of Ross. Much bigger than expected from the pictures. The wood heater was super cosy once it was going and there were several other heating options which was great as it was a very chilly night when we stayed.

Hi Rima - We were away on our annual holidays and I had a neighbour doing the units for me. I'm very sorry about the bread, obviously the unit wasn't checked properly before you came. I can only apologise. Regards Pam Hyam

Was wonderful to have such a cosy cottage to stay in at the last minute. And the fire roaring upon our arrival on a chilly winters day was the best surprise!

The whole experience was totally delightful. We were met upon arrival, made welcome, and introduced to the cottage, which was furnished in period style. It was very much as we had been led to believe, an amazing experience to be part of a row of old sandstone cottages that are still lived in! We had daily contact with our host, who made sure our place was totally dog friendly for our pet. We could not have met with more comfortable, helpful hospitality. The little sheltered side passage with table and chairs was an unexpected delight.

Pamela provided a lovely self contained unit part of her amazing heritage house. We enjoyed the very comfy bed, rocking chair and nostalgia that we were offered. The log fire was very warming and cosy. All facilities were well provided.

Thanks for a very enjoyable stay at your place in Ross. We congratulate you on your appointment of our accommodation – everything we needed was there. You certainly have a beautiful location as well as living in the perfect jumping-off place for all the other places around the area. This trip we made a point of visiting only those places we had not visited before – only to discover there are so many MORE places we have yet to visit. We will be back! Thanks also for providing the safe parking for the motorbike.

Hi Cathi - I don't quite understand what you mean by "robust power outlets". Please explain as the whole house has recently been rewired and if there is something wrong with the power outlets I would like to know. Pam

We are an older couple semi retired and find running two accommodation places in Ross in Tasmania keeps us very busy.
In past years we have travelled to many parts of the world but find lately we are just too busy to even think about an overseas trip.
Our little poodle dog Charlie is also a joy to us but keeps us on our toes.
