The space
This is a very large (550 sq. ft.) studio apartment above our detached 2 car garage. Full bath with tub/shower is all yours. Mini kitchen includes mini fridge, coffee maker, microwave and a few mugs, cups, dishes and flatware. There is no cooktop or oven. We don't store our vehicles in the garages, just lawn mowers, bikes, and other toys. It will be very quiet for you. There is a private deck off the back of the apartment, surrounded by a stone wall, small grassy area, and woods. This is a great place to enjoy your breakfast, afternoon snack, or evening cocktail. Although we have 2 dogs in our house, they are never allowed in the apartment. Rate is for 2 people. Additional guests $10 per person/night.

Guest access
You will have the whole apartment, which you will access from the door on the driveway level of the building. There is a large staircase to access the apartment.

Other things to note
Hancock is the quintessential New England village, and the perfect home base for any New England adventure. Within 2 hours drive time to Boston, the White Mountains, or the Atlantic coast. You will enjoy our little town whether you come for our glorious summers and 4th of July celebration, spectacular autumn foliage, or to take advantage of our many opportunities for skiing, snowboarding, skating, and tubing in the winter (only 15 minutes to Crotched Mountain Ski & Ride!).

My husband, Paul, and I live here in Hancock, NH with our 4 children and 2 dogs. Having grown up in the beautiful Monadnock Region, I am happy to share it with others. We love to travel and appreciate the need to "get away from it all" from time to time.
