My home is nestled in the quiet, serene forest, a 5 minute walk, from one of the best surfing beaches in Canada, Cox Bay. It is a quick bicycle ride to Chesterman Beach and a 7 minute drive into town.

The space
My home is nestled in the quiet, serene forest right across from one of the best surfing beaches in Canada, Cox Bay. It is a quick bicycle ride to Chesterman Beach and a 7 minute drive into town.

West Coast Hideaway is a beautiful two story home that fits in with it's natural setting. Board and Batton cover the outside giving it a "cottage" look. With expansive windows on the main floor as well as skylights, it allows you the feeling of being outdoors while enjoying the comforts of indoors. With hardwood floors, and exposed beams throughout you will not be disappointed.

The Master bedroom is located on the top floor with a queen sized bed and a seating area. Your very own bathroom is also just down the hall for your convenience.

The second bedroom is located on the main floor, with a King sized bed, and a full bathroom that looks out into the forest.

A sofa bed, which is located upstairs in the reading nook, completes the sleeping arrangements.

If it is raining outside, get cozy with the propane fireplace and throw blankets. Make yourself some tea and snacks in the beautiful large kitchen, and clean up is a breeze with the dishwasher.

The kitchen is a foodie's dream. With high end appliances, lots of counter space, expansive cupboards and a concrete countertop with built in drain board next to our industrial sink, you will feel like a master chef.

A large hot tub is located on the deck to allow you to enjoy the fresh air and stars. Hooks for your towels are located on the house adjacent to the hot tub.

A spa like outdoor shower is there for you to rinse prior to a hot tub or after a surf.

I live in an adjacent suite attached to the home. Everything you see in these pictures is private and is the rentals. I do share the driveway and will say hi when I see you and am happy to offer any advice and help if needed, or just give you your space. No

You will have access to the entire house and deck not including the garage or attic.

There is a bbq on the deck with a fire pit, and boards can be placed carefully on the gravel.

Hangers are available outside so you can hang your wetsuits to dry.

Other things to note
My Sewer system, like all of those in Tofino is very sensitive.
Please no flushing of anything except toilet paper.
Hair, makeup wipes, tampons, baby wipes, dental floss, matches, diapers, condoms, and grease are all examples of things that should never be flushed. If something is flushed it will mean forfeiture of your damage deposit.

I love dogs and they are welcome with an additional fee of $75 flat rate per dog. I host a maximum of two dogs.

Neighbourhood highlights

We are close enough to town, yet far enough away for privacy and tranquility. It is a beautiful neighbourhood nestled in the forest. There is a grocery store and amazing take out food restaurants a quick bike ride or 2 minute car ride away. In our experience, it is nice to enjoy town, and then retreat somewhere you can enjoy the sounds of nature.

The people here are genuine and so kind, coupling that with the beautiful landscape, life couldn't get any better.
