We provide a clean space in a location where social distancing is easy. You have your own separate guest suite located on a ridge overlooking a valley of fruit orchards and vineyards. This quiet, rural location is one of the warmest and driest ecoregions in Canada with numerous wineries, hiking/biking trails, and boating/swimming in Okanagan Lake.

Summerland is a good central location from which to explore the Okanagan Valley between Osoyoos/Penticton and Kelowna/Vernon.

The space
This is a 60 sq m (650 sq ft) one bedroom/one bathroom self contained suite with a living area and a kitchen. The apartment is equipped with wireless internet and TELUS TVs with Netflix.

The bedroom has a queen sized bed, two night tables, a chest of drawers, a TV and a clothes closet.

The living area has a couch and chair, table and chairs for eating, and a queen size Murphy (fold down) wall bed. There is a full size washer and drier in a closet off the living area.

The kitchenette has a full size fridge, microwave, induction cooking plate, toaster oven, coffee maker, and dishes. The kitchenette is stocked with basic supplies such as salt/pepper, cooking oil/vinegar, and with coffee/tea, and cereal/bars for your first breakfast.

The bathroom has a sink, toilet, and tub with shower. Shampoo, conditioner and soap is provided.

There is a small balcony with two wicker chairs.

When we first saw Prairie Valley in Summerland we fell in love with the area; open forests of ponderosa pine scattered with flowering Saskatoon berry bushes and arrowleaf daisies. Shortly after we retired and moved here from the city. We now spend our days hiking the hills and biking the trails and country roads.

We love to travel and enjoy being active while getting off the beaten track.
