My boyfriend and I rented this cottage for a weekend gateaway. It was great! Devin left us a very thoughtful message on our arrival. The cottage looks as shown in the pictures, very cozy with the wood and the view of the river, it's perfect! The location is great, it's very close to Buckhorn where you can do your groceries but isolated enough to be quiet. We stopped by the local Winery and tried some really good fruit wines (strawberry, peach, black currant). Check-in and check-out was very easy and Devin was very responsive and easy to get in touch with. Our only regret is that we didn't get to see any beaver swim in the river despite a lot of looking. I would definitely recommend staying in this cottage.

This log cabin is just perfect for getting away for the weekend, or more. Even cozier than advertised! We had a wonderful stay and loved the small details and charm throughout. Hosts were prompt and detailed in communication, readily available, but provided us with privacy. Thanks for the jam as well!

Just incredible. The cabin itself was incredibly clean, comfortable, and had tons of charm. I was impressed with the thoughtfulness, attention to detail and care Devin and David provided from when we booked it to the time we left. I'd recommend this place for anyone looking to get back to nature without missing any of the comforts of home.

A great little hideaway that is well maintained. It's close to amenities such as grocery and lcbo yet secluded enough that you feel the calm of nature around you. Great hosts who respected our privacy and had everything ready before our arrival. My wife and I hope to return in the summer months, but for this time, the little cabin was the perfect spot for our mini winter getaway from the city.
