A beautiful 1-bedroom flat in the heart of Kensal Rise;close to Portobello Market. This ideal location enables easy access to Central London w/Tube,Overground&Bus.The flat is small, but clean,charming&bright,w/central heating,TV,Wi-Fi&washing machine.

The space

The apartment is lovely and it was a love on the first sight for me. The living room has two large windows and it provides a lot of natural light. It has an open plan kitchen and living room in one, a separate bedroom and a private bathroom with shower cabin and a toilette. The sofa bed in the living room can be turned into bed. The kitchen is fully equipped with fridge, built-in electric hob, oven, kettle, pots, plates and cutlery for two, and a George Foreman grill that my guests also use as a toaster. I do not have a microwave, as it is bad for health. The apartment is small, but it has everything that you might need during your stay.

Guest access

You can use communal washing machine and dryer.
The flat is on the first floor, and there are two sets of stairs to access the flat.

Interaction with guests

I'm always online and on my mobile phone, so I am more than happy to help with whatever is needed.

Other things to note

The location of the flat is excellent, in the main Kensal Rise street, Chamberlayne Road, with a lot of shops, pubs and restaurants. The downside from living in a central location overlooking the main street is that you can hear traffic from the road. For me this is not a problem (otherwise I wouldn't be living here) and most of my guests never mentioned it as a factor, but I had two guests who minded the noise from outside.

We have stayed in Ella's flat for one month and it was really a great time. The apartment is very nice, the location is excellent , close to the overground, buses and underground. Ella is an excellent hostess: easy to contact, helpful and warm. We strongly recommend the apartment and would stay there again in the future.

Ella was a wonderful host. My parents stayed at her apartment when they were visiting me in London. The apartment is in a lovely area and very convenient with public transport. Ella was flexible with checkin and out to suit us.

We had a lovely time staying in Ella's apartment. Kensal Rise is a convenient location, in zone 2 for public transport. The apartment is very close to an overground station and on two 24-hour bus routes. A supermarket is only a couple of minutes' walk away, and there are several restaurants, cafes and pubs in the neighbourhood. The apartment is small - I wouldn't recommend it for more than two people, but it has everything you need and is very clean.

This flat is well located and Ella is a warm and conscientious host who responded to all messages quickly and clearly cares about her guests and their comfort. That being said, the space is cramped and the walls are thin - both features that the host cannot control, but unfortunately affected our stay.

Ella is a very kind and communicative host who is easy to talk to and work with. Her place is in an up and coming part of the city that has some excellent restaurants. The rest of the city is easy to get to via the Overground, which is very close.
