Location

Caposele, Campania, Italy

The apartment Climber's Nest/Casa Elisabetta Short Lets is located in Caposele, a genuine small Italian village in the green heart of the Campania region (Southern Italy) and surrounded by water springs, mountains, hills, and cultivated fields.
Caposele, which belongs to the Picentini Mountains Regional Park, is also known as the "ancient water kingdom" for the karstic water springs of the Sele River. The springs feed the WORLD'S LONGEST AQUEDUCT and third for capacity, known as Apulian Aqueduct.
Caposele is also famous for the Sanctuary of Saint Gerardo.

Our place is located in a strategic spot to easily reach all the most famous attractions in Campania (Amalfi and Cilento Coast, Pompei, Naples, Paestum and Royal Palace of Caserta).

Following the Sele River course, which starts in our village, it is possible to discover ancient castles, ghost villages and wonders of the past. It's also possible to experience exciting outdoor activities and adventures into the wild (hiking, climbing, mountain biking, rafting, zipline).

Food and wine are the true wealth of our territory and are essential to experience the local culture. The naturalness of the local products derives from the work of small breeders and farmers who follow traditional methods both in the cultivation and processing of the products.

Hi! My name is Lucia. I have a sunny personality and I like the simple and practical things in life. I am a professor of Italian literature who is now retired and I devote my time to gardening, one of my biggest passion. I have lived most of my life in Caposele and have always had an open house for friends and acquaintances to come any visit, including lots of international guests. I like to exchange ideas and knowledge of different cultures, traditions and especially cooking tips and horticulture. If you decide to come and visit Caposele and stay at my home I and my sons Pasquale and Sandro can offer all the information and advice you need to help make your stay a comfortable and wonderful experience.
