We are all outdoor enthusiasts, surfers, kayakers, and foodies. We are a family of five including our 21 year old son, Koen, our 12 year old, Taj and Summer who is 7.
We are all very outgoing and friendly and are more than happy to help answer any questions you may have and help inform and guide your Tofino experience.
We have a straight forward self check in system and are typically out and about a lot; we also try to respect your space so you may not see much of us, unless you want to!

Other things to note
As proud Tribal Parks Allies, we are honoured to live, work, and play in the unceded territory of the Tla-o-qui-aht First Nation. 1% of our earnings are shared with the Tla-o-qui-aht Tribal Parks as an eco-system service fee, to honour their title, and guardianship of these sacred lands and waters.
Prepare for water restrictions in the summer months.
Drier and busier summers are impacting Tofino's water supply. Join this region's long history of stewardship by using less water. Tofino's tap water is collected with gratitude from the old-growth forests protected by the ƛaʔuukʷiʔatḥ (Tla-o-qui-aht) Tribal Parks.
Ensuring a sufficient supply for essential services like firefighting and maintaining adequate drinking water for the community is the goal for the following restrictions.
The District of Tofino greatly appreciates your efforts to preserve our natural resources. Make every drop count!
Thank You!

Noise - there is potential for some street noise as we are right in the heart of Tofino at the edge of the commercial district. Things typically quiet right down at night.
Also we are beside the fire hall. Fire practice is every Tuesday evening. Again, typically they are finished by 9 pm.
Keep in mind this is an urban Tofino experience, but it is all relative! Most of our guests don't notice the noise at all depending on what they are used to, but it is worth mentioning.
