The space

Surrounded by nature to 4 meters from the main house there is the elegant annex with ethnic details
A unique romantic ambience for two, where you can enjoy all the privacy that you need.
The real star of the elegant cottage is 'the old fireplace that gives a unique touch of the old farms of Puglia.
The annex includes a kitchen, fridge and everything you need to cook, has a double sofa bed with the possibility of having a single bed.
Large bathroom with shower and bidet.

The colors of the many pillows of Turkish origin, the large wooden table colonial style and nuances of the sofa in the center of the room, represent the nuances of the earth.
The colors of the furnishing in contrast (from brown to intense vital orange, red hot elegant black), the stylized images of paintings, express the desire of the owners to be surrounded by a warm and exotic ambient.
The exotic garden and outdoor spaces are 3,152 square meters.
Presence of very sweet and very nice dogs.

The villa offers to its guests a vitalising journey. Nica the owner, will be at your disposal every weekend of the year to offer a rich breakfast, served from 9:30 to 11:30 with testy jams made with organic fruit, sweet and savory pies and fresh fruit juices. In summer the breakfast is served in the beautiful wooden pergola immersed in the eden of the villa.

We provide you sheets, towels, blankets and all the kitchen furniture you need. Laundrymachine is available for our guests. There is no cleaning additional fee.

The Villa is located in the center of the village of Palombaio, 2 minutes walk you will find markets, shops, coffes and a church.

During your stay in our Villa, you can easily visit (15 - 30 minutes by car) Bari (Basilica di San Nicola, the seaside), "Pulo di Altamura" (carsic depression in the land deep 100 mt in the rock), Romanic Cathedrals in Altamura, Bitonto, Ruvo, Terlizzi and Gravina, "Sassi di Matera" (preistoric caves in the old town of Matera).

We stayed 3 nights st Giulia's place. Overall our stay was fine, but I think it's worth noting the following for prospective guests. Giulia did a great job to ensure her parents met us in the village so we could get to the place. Like many Airbnb's in Italy, even with GPS and di…

Response from Giulia:
Dear Polly We appreciate your review and yours "less positive" notes too, that are always a good way for us to improve the stay for our next guests. I think the main problems were probably easily solved by asking to my parents, who are more than happy to help out and giving the things you need. I understand the language barrier but as you realized they are lovely people and keen to make sure the guests have a nice stay. My mum usually wash the clothes for the guests using the washing machine inside the main house, but I guess, as misunderstood, she gave you the tub. show you the tub in order to washing for you in the house, but I guess it was misunderstood. Tv unfortunately was broke and I will make sure it won't appear in the list of facilities until he will get fixed. Well I really hope your stay was overall positive and we appreciate your sincerity, I feel to point out that maybe a stay in a country house close to a small village is not a conformable choice for everybody. Enjoy the rest of your trip, you'll be always welcome for future stay. Giulia and Nica

A great place if you are looking for somewhere quiet which you can use as a base to tour the area. The house is outside town right in the country. The village of Palombaio is very sleepy but there are other great places around and the coast is only a 40 minute drive away. We had …

We had a great experience in the lovely cottage. First of all, the location is great - in a large olive garden at the border of a small village. It's very quiet and great for relaxing, but all the sights are close enough to reach. The hosts were very helpful and accommodating and…

The parents of giulia welcomed us. They are very nice people and showed us around the house. The house was clean and had a nice fireplace ( which we needed in november because the nights were chilly). The house was a bit dark but you could also sit outside in the garden. The plac…
