The space
Brand new, luxury two bedroom apartment, fully renovated in 2023, with an exceptional centric location in the heart of 'El Carmen' neighborhood is a perfect place to relax after a nice day walking around discovering Valencia. Located in the historic center of Valencia, just steps away from all major attractions and landmarks. Lots of restaurants and bars with sunny terraces around. Cozy, extremely central and functional, it has everything that a family or couples would need for a memorable city break stay in Valencia. Take a rest on the comfortable couch or take a long relaxing bath before tumbling down the stairs to enjoy a glass o Valencian wine or a cold beer on one of the authentic terraces in the neighborhood.

The Space

The apartment is located on the 4rd floor, with no lift!

The apartment has been completely remodeled. It can accommodate up to 4 persons comfortably.

Decorated in a modern way, it keeps its original charm, maintaining elements of traditional Valencian architecture such as wood-beamed high ceilings but at the same time brand new quality materials and facilities, which endow it with great character and make it very special and charming.

It features a very spacious living room area with a big window opening to a terrace, although is not allowed to exit but you can enjoy the nice views , a fully equipped open concept kitchen, 2 spacious bedrooms with an on suite bathroom each of them.

The spacious and bright living & dining space, featuring high ceilings and wooden beams, offers a comfortable sofa, a flat screen Smart TV, and an auxiliary table. The windows fill the living room area with plenty of natural daylight and you can enjoy the nice views of the old town roof tops. (Please note that it is not allowed to use the terrace)

In the fully equipped open concept kitchen you’ll find everything you might require to prepare a meal: kitchenware, tableware, oven (that can also be use as microwave), dishwasher, vitroceramic hob, fridge/freezer, juicer, Nespresso coffee machine, kettle and toaster. I also offer basic kitchen condiments and detergent for washing crockery, to avoid you the hassle and cost of this basic shopping.

The apartment has two bedrooms; both of them with super spacious and luxury bathroom on suite and lots of places to store your clothes. Both of the bedrooms has king-sized bed

The two bathrooms offers a comfy and wide walk-in shower

Clean, fresh bed linen and towels are also included. The bath towels supplied are for use in the apartment only.

You will find also one hairdryer, iron, ironing board, and toiletries such as shampoo, shower gel, and hand soap.

Fast WIFI High-Speed Internet connection (600 MB) and central hot & cold air conditioning system is provided.

The cleaning fee refers to the cleaning of the apartment after departure. No cleaning service is offered during the stay.

Interaction with Guests

I do not live in Valencia but don’t worry! a family friend will welcome you upon arrival and make sure you have everything you need for your stay. Once you complete the reservation, I will also send you a document with some information regarding the apartment, personal insider tips on what to do and visit, and some local restaurant and bars recommendations, to help you make the best out of your stay in Valencia. Also, you will be provided with a map of Valencia upon arrival and will remain reachable by phone or Airbnb e-mail 24/7 during your stay, should you need any help or advice!

House Rules

- As a rental tenant, you are expected to abide by the house rules and treat the apartment, including all equipment, furniture and appliances with care at all times.

- No parties or events are allowed.

- Access to terrace is not allowed

- You are not allowed to accommodate more people in the apartment than the number of occupants stated in the booking. In case of doing so you will be charged 20€ per person, per night.

- In order to secure peaceful living together, I kindly ask you to respect them by keeping the noise volume at a tolerable level within the apartment (including balconies) and shared common areas (stairs, hallway, and terrace). Rest hours are from 23:00 to 9:00.

- Undue noise and unsocial behaviour will be penalised and may result in the guests being asked to vacate the property immediately without reimbursement and any kind of compensation, regardless of time of day or night.

- Upon your departure the apartment should be returned in a reasonably clean and tidy condition. Kitchen should be cleaned (especially of food debris) and garbage taken out (there are recycling bins near the apartment).

- Please turn off the air conditioners, lights and all other electrical appliance(s) every time you leave apartment.

- It is absolutely prohibited to store bicycles within the apartment or building premises.

- Smoking is not permitted inside the apartment.

- Typically, check-in is after 15:00. However, if you plan to arrive earlier, please advise and will do my best to accommodate your early check-in request.

- Please note that check-in between 20:00 and 23:00, will have a supplement of 20 EUR / between 23:00-09:00, will have a supplement of 30 EUR, to be paid at check-in time.

- If you need me to go to the apartment because you left the keys inside, cost will be 15€ until 20:00; 25€ after 20:00 and 35€ after 23:00. If you locked yourself out and you left the key inside the lock, you will be asked to pay the fee requested to have a locksmith re-open the apartment.

- Pets are not allowed.

- Damage to furniture and/or facilities will be charged at an amount equating to the value of the damage.

- Please make sure all windows / doors are securely closed/locked and that you always maintain possession of the key every time you leave the apartment during your stay.

- You will be charged 30€ to replace any lost apartment set of keys.

The Neighborhood

The apartment is located in Calle San Jaume, one of the most popular streets of 'El Carmen' neighbourhood, in the heart of the Old Town. El Carmen, distinguished by its medieval-style narrow streets, short old buildings and lots of local color, is considered one of the most special neighbourhoods of Valencia. Strolling around and getting lost is a pretty exciting experience here! ;-)

The area surrounding the apartment is full of nice cafes, restaurants, bars and small shops and all major cultural attractions in the Old Town are within few minutes walking distance.

For groceries, the Valencian Central Market, considered one of Europe's largest and oldest running fresh produce markets, is just 3 minutes away. There you will find the best fresh food you can find in the city: fish, seafood, vegetables, fruit, meat, cheese, dried fruit, bakeries…400 stalls and more than 8,000 m² inside a really beautiful structure made out of ceramic, stone, marble, iron and mosaics... A 'must' visit!

In 8 min. walking distance you will find the biggest green area of Valencia, on the old riverbed, hence its non-official name El Río (the river), as we locals say. People go there for running, walking, cycling (there are different tracks for doing it) or for doing picnic in the shade of the trees!

Transportation:

When arriving by plane (Airport VLC), the easiest and most comfortable option is to take a taxi from the airport. Cost will be approx. 23€ and travelling time around 25 minutes (11 km).

The Nord Train Station (Estació del Nord) is 1.1 km / 13 min. walking distance. A taxi will take approximately 10 min. (approx. 8 EUR).

If you arrive by high-speed AVE train, the 'Joaquín Sorolla' train station is about 1.8 km away. / 25 min. walking distance. A taxi will take approximately 12 min. (approx. 8 EUR).

All major bus routes are also available from City Hall Square area (750 m / 9 min.).
