Beautiful heritage Kits home. Amazing neighborhood close to Jericho beach, shops, cafes, and restaurants. Very easy public transport options to UBC and downtown. Available occasionally short-term.

Currently available for Christmas holiday, 2019. Available from late on December 17th, or 18th, through to Jan 1.

Possibility of a discount if you are willing and able to take care of our small 14 lb dog. If not, please inquire anyway and we will find alternative arrangements for him.

The space
Our home was built in 1915 and retains much of its original coziness and charm. It features wood floors, a beautiful front porch, three good-sized bedrooms (two with balconies), upstairs laundry and the best Kitsilano neighborhood.

We are a five minute walk to Jericho Beach, and a half-block to 4th Ave which features everything you need: two grocery stores, a bakery, coffee shops, liquor store, pharmacy, vet, pub, restaurants – everything. Bus to UBC and downtown is half-block away. Lots of on-street parking. Great neighbors. Quiet street.

The first floor has an enormous foyer with fireplace, living room, dining room, kitchen and pantry. When the weather is nice we eat all of our meals on the front porch. The kitchen has a Bosch dishwasher and a gas stove. The dining room has an antique adjustable table that can seat 10 comfortably. The second floor has three bedrooms, a full bath and high-efficiency washer/dryer. The master bedroom has a “California Queen” sized bed. The second bedroom has bunk beds and the third bedroom has a full bed. We have a great front and rear garden for playing and BBQing. Lots of flowers in the spring and summer.

Basically, it’s a great house in a phenomenal location. Not nouveau-fancy – in that the bath and kitchen are not updated, but great in many ways.

We have bikes to use if you wish (adult and kid sized), lots of toys and games too.
