Located on 16 acres of private, park like grounds and native bush, this beautifully restored house is situated so that you can enjoy the beautiful views and sunsets.
A Queen room with built-in wardrobe with a private bathroom. French doors open up onto deck and open park/bush view.
Tea and Coffee provided in your room.
Enjoy the sunset from the deck outside your bedroom.
Breakfast in our large kitchen and breakfast room or outside.
We provide a continental breakfast which includes home-made jams and bread.
Full Breakfast with eggs from our own chickens/ducks on request.WiFi is available free of charge.
Plenty of parking is available on the property, even for Boats.
Walk around our 6 acre park and enjoy a drink on one of the park benches whilst listening to the birds sing. Enjoy the many mature trees as you meander down into 10 acres of natural native bush and follow the path to the stream.
Enjoy the extensive bird life such as the Native Wood Pigeon. Wake up in the morning to the Tui singing outside your window. You might also hear the sounds of Kingfishers, Californian Quails, Shining Cuckoo, Chaffinch, Yellowhead, Thrush and so many more.
At night wander down the bush to listen for the Kiwi Bird and if you are fortunate, you may even see one and then walk on to the glow worms. Have fun on our new petanque court. Have a swim in our pool (Dec to March).
You may also like to watch the antics of our chickens rooster and ducks as they wander the grounds. We also have a cat called Tinkerbell.
Only 4 minute drive to the centre of town and centrally placed to discover all of the Far North, only 5 minutes to the Bay of Islands Golf Club and only 20 minutes from World famous Kauri Cliffs golf coarse.
We were originally from the UK but lived in Japan for 11 years, we have travelled the world extensively and have many International friends.
