Quiet two bedroom villa, enclosed within it's own grounds, set amongst olive groves. Well equipped kitchen/dining room, seperate living room with sofa bed, two bathrooms. Study area leading to the trullo. Air conditioning in the bedrooms. Outdoor seating area with gazebo, private pool.
The villa has it's own unique character, a wonderful home for your stay in Puglia. Spacious and designed to allow you to experience all the great things the region has to offer, local produce, outdoor living, stunning coastline, charming towns to explore.
A car is essential to access the villa. The property is 1.6km from the provincial strada via an exceedingly rough unpaved lane. It is contained within it's own grounds, a low perimeter wall with open fence above, the gates open on to a gravelled drive with ample parking. I strongly advise not renting an executive vehicle due to the rough nature of the access.
The property is all on one level, it has not been adapted for wheelchair access. It is serviced by a neighbour who will welcome you at the villa, you have access to the whole villa and grounds during your stay.
Interaction with guests
I can provide the contact details of a local interpreter who is very happy to arrange wine and food tastings, act as a guide, make reservations.
Other things to note
Please beware that the access road to the villa from the main paved road is a rough unmade track.
We recommend that you do not rent or use a vehicle with low ground clearance when staying at our villa, as driving on this unmade track may cause damage to the vehicle, for which we will not accept any responsibility.
The property is non smoking.
WiFi is provided for your convenience for reasonable use during your stay i.e for email and web browsing. Heavy data usage applications such as data uploads/downloads, streaming, movies, YouTube etc are not permitted.
I live and work in Leamington Spa, I have a beautiful holiday home near Ostuni, Puglia, southern Italy. I have always enjoyed travelling, I was fortunate as a child to enjoy family holidays in Europe. As a student I extended this travel further afield, North America and Australia, also working a ski season in my twenties as a chalet girl in the French Alps.
I work for Boots the Chemists as a pharmacist, a vocation I have become increasingly passionate about over the years. When time allows I enjoy a weekend away, UK, Europe, it's great exploring new places, revisiting favourites and discovering new things about them.
If you choose to visit Puglia I trust you will enjoy my family holiday home as much as we do, a fabulous escape to relax, unwind and escape everyday life.
