Situated within the Wye Valley Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty this self-contained annex, attached to the main house, offers spectacular views, in a peaceful rural setting.
In an area much loved by walkers, the property is two miles from the Offa’s Dyke Path and Wye Valley Walk, and situated at the end of a day’s walk from the start of both (transport for walkers to and from The Boat public house at Redbrook can be provided). There are also local bluebell woodland walks. Other outdoor activities include canoeing and kayaking on the nearby river Wye, horse -riding in the Brecon Beacons and Welsh coastal beaches are just an hour’s drive away. For those interested in local history we are perfectly situated for exploring Chepstow Castle, Raglan Castle, Tintern Abbey and the historic market town of Monmouth is just 5 miles away. Although the property is very rural Waitrose in Monmouth will deliver and there are several notable restaurants and pubs within walking distance.
The accommodation consists of a large lounge with a well fitted kitchen area. Tea, coffee, milk and eggs from the owner’s hens are provided. There is a double bedroom with an en suite bathroom and French doors leading to a patio and garden area, BBQ facilities are available.
The annex is self contained, connected to the main host's house.
Other things to note
There is plenty of off-street parking available. One well behaved dog welcome, note that the owners have one friendly dog at the property and two cats.
A DVD player and a selection of DVD's are available and digital radio, but there is no TV.
